Decided I "needed" a really nice lightsaber for my prop replica collection, and decided to go for the Leia version which is on discount at Amazon and BBTS at the moment. I went with Leia in part due to the price but also the rose gold look of it which seems more classic Jedi - and blue to me is still the most iconic lightsaber color. Granted, this is from the ST which I don't think much of but I am pretty sure no one who ever sees this in my house will know the details...

Anyway, arrived today and I have to say I am pretty impressed with it - very solid and looks as "real" as one could expect (to me at least). The removable blade option is a major plus to me, along with the two emitter looks, either for holding the blade or without the blade. Love the light-up effects as the blade "extends" and "retracts", and the two bonus effect modes - the tip turns red/yellow/white like it is burning through metal, and it randomly will register blaster fire hits it is deflecting.

I am not a cosplay guy but I do like a good prop replica. I am already thinking about getting her brother's lightsaber, if I can find it on sale at some point - not a $250 item for me, but under $150, I am happy with it.

Anyway, was wondering if others have gotten any lightsabers in this line?

@fac I don't have any of the newer Force FX Elite Lightsabers due to price.   In Canada you are looking at around $300+ to start (regular retail price).   More commonly it is $350-$450Cdn depending on the features, character, etc. etc.

However I do have Kylo Ren's and Darth Vader's lightsabers from the first releases (before Force FX Elite).   These are the all plastic ones.   Overall they are good for what they are, and I only paid $75Cd each for them on sale.   So not a bad purchase.   They definitely feel cheaper compared to the Force FX ones I have had a chance to handle.   They also don't have most of the bells and whistles that the Force FX ones have.   However, again, they are good for what they are and the price.

I have only been really tempted by the Darksaber, but didn't pull the trigger.   I did find a pair of Asajj Ventress' Force FX lightsabers at a local Walmart on clearance.   However the boxes had been opened and damaged, and they were clearly returns from an online purchase so I didn't even bother to check them out.

The line is great, but like you the price keeps me from even really considering a purchase right now.

@canprime I had looked at the Force FX line but I didn't like that the blade was permanent - just having the hilt on a stand is how I will display it, and will add on the blade to swing it around once in a while (which I admit I am enjoying a bit too much since it arrived...)

The Leia one I got is currently USD $110 on Amazon US (Leia Organa Force FX Elite Lightsaber) - not sure if that would work for you in CA but to the extent any of this stuff is "worth the money" this is pretty close.

Also, considering pairing it with this: Jedi Training Remote and Hilt – Star Wars | Disney Store
