@spongyblue that's interesting. Hasbro must think they can produce a show for less money than it costs to license the footage of Super Sentai. It seems like a gamble since that's been part of the appeal of the production side as it has historically been a cheap show to produce. I would be surprised though if it lead to any increase in long-running continuity. They did pretty well as-is in the 90s and to keep bringing Tommy back for other shows as long-form story-telling just doesn't exist much in the kid realm. At least not anymore. Most studios are cutthroat and just want to produce 50 episodes or so and then get out to avoid having to re-up the talent which always costs more. And then you have outlets like Netflix that produce episodes and then just sit on them for awhile to spread them out making it even harder to get the band back together if they event want to make more when all is said and done.
The old format of direct-to-syndication TV for the youth market packaged with a toy line, video game, etc. has mostly died. I feel like if Hasbro goes that route with Power Rangers it's likely to fail again, but maybe they'll surprise me.
Recent sentai shows seem to be almost daring Hasbro to adapt their seasons. I'm not sure it'd be worth the effort to try to mine Zenkaiger, Donbrothers or King-Ohger, fer instance, for usable footage.
Meanwhile, although I thought Lupin vs Pat was an amazing season, I'm not sure Hasbro'd be willing to commit to the Ranger vs Ranger premise which is easily half the fun.
I got Damon recently since I saw one fairly cheap and he seems to be one that may go up in price. I forgot how undersized the Quasar Saber looks. I may try to find some 3rd party ones because Maya doesn't come with one anyway, which is the dumbest thing in the world. Like, it's in their top 5 stupidest decisions with this line. Yknow, the thing that gives them their power, she doesn't have one. So dumb. They didn't give Leo single packed one either. Unless you count their dagger forms, which are all but useless. Plus they have a hard time fitting in their hands because of the way they're designed. I just don't wanna buy them and then not like them, because I did that with some 3rd party blade blasters and I got them in the mail, and even though they were labeled for Lightning collection, they were too big. They didn't look that big in the pics. But there's no way to return them either. So I have them just wasting away in my unfinished paint projects. They may work better for the Legacy figures, but I doubt they'll fit in their holsters. The Legacy ones were too small, and it being the only weapons they came with made it even worse lol.
Anyone know if the Skeleputties and Cobra Kai Rangers have gone on clearance at Target yet? One store has a ton of Skeleputties and while I don’t care about them from an official stance, I think they’d make cool Halloween decor if they’re marked down. They scanned at full price, but I think the Target price checkers sometimes just reflect website and not store pricing. Although maybe that’s been changed recently.
I got notified from Amazon earlier yesterday afternoon that RPM Yellow, Lightspeed Rescue Blue, Turbo Red and the updated Rita shipped. ETA is supposed to be today by 8pm. I received the Minotaur from Amazon about a month ago. He's lighter than I thought he would be.
Valaverse Early Prototype Legend of the White Dragon 6-inch Scale Figure
Lord I hope this head is in Lightning Collection Scale. This looks like it will be a great scan.

I'm looking forward to this one. Definitely going to go in my PR display.
How much are those usually? I would love to have one but the price may be too much.
I do believe the Kobra Kai and Skeletaputties went on sale at some point recently but I don't think it was clearance.
Low $30s on BBTS usually.
Target had the Skeleputties and Johnny/Miguel on sale for $19.49 or something like that a month or so ago.
I saw Rita in stock in a GameStop and had to resist so hard not buying her for full price. These mostly empty PFP really are such a waste.
This thread doesn't have a lot of pictures of newer figures lately - anyone got Rita, or other new stuff with some pics? Or can recommend a good review site that is pictures and not videos?
I don't have any new figures to post pics of. After much pondering I decided I'd keep my remastered preorders, no movement on those or my Rita. I am seeing people get their remastered figures trickling in here and there, but I have seen very few with a full set yet. Getting kind of anxious for those.
Rita looks good but I have the last one, and I painted her staff/wand so it's also fairly accurate. So I don't really "need" the new one. But if I see it on sale or in store when I'm going to spend my $5 monthly dealio I'll probably pick her up.
I haven't taken pics of things in forever to put up online, and this new board and how it works is confusing so I'm not sure I'd be able to post pics if I did take them.
If that LotWD JDF is low $30 I may just pick him up. I hope he scales well with the Lightning stuff.
@trunks3540 It's actually a lot easier to post pictures here, you don't need [img] codes and can just post the link itself.
Except when they're on my phone and not a website lol. I had photobucket once upon a time but they wanted me to start paying for it. Fuck that noise. So I have nothing now. I would use tapatalk to just upload them from my phone before. And I'm not sure I care enough to sign up for another site. Unless I can use deviant art, then maybe I could try to upload them there. But I mainly use that to look at cool art, not post any of my own.

You can use the DirectUpload.net app and do it right from you phone that way.
That and Flikr are options beyond the non functional Taptalk.
