So I was comparing the SPD A Blue to the other 2 I just got. Wow they are totally different. Not uniform at all. I hate when they do that, but most of the figures are spared, besides some helmets being white outlined or silver outlined. Usually it's the weapons that are all over the place with paint. But holy shit, A Squad is egregious. Blue has white for his helmet outlines whereas red and yellow have silver, as some Zeo helmets did. It looks like blues helmet is sculpted with the outlines as well, but the the other 2 look like blank helmets with just painting for the details. I may be wrong on that though, it was hard for me to tell. Blues armor and helmet attachment are also a lighter silver color, almost white. The other 2 are noticeably silver. And they neglected to paint alot of the black details on him. The knees are also way off on color. I mean, how hard is it to just look at the source material and copy that? That would make it harder to have discrepancies like this. I'm all for correcting figures later that have mistakes. Like the helmets are probably supposed to have silver accents. But if they're gonna fix it, and have 1 odd man out, why don't they do what they did with Rockys Tonfa and throw a proper painted helmet in with another figure as an apology. The Marvel team has given us apology heads that come with other figures before. Or, they could do what they are with A Squad Pink and did before with Dino Thunder White. Make a run of helmets with the proper colors, and send them to people who bought the old wrong helmet figure. As it stands, this figure may only get this 1 shot, so him looking so far removed from the others is gonna be permanent most likely. And yea I can paint, but it definitely doesn't look the same. Hand brushing does not do what a spray machine does. You can tell its hand painted. That's why I hate doing skin. You can see all the little imperfections in each stroke. It doesn't look smooth like factory. After I did my custom X23 and her skin came out clammy and rough I swore off doing skin if there was any alternative at all. I'm not good enough to do skin. I'm barely able to do eyes and lips, and eyes are a pain in the ass.

If I had to guess it would be the Lightspeed Rescue blue wave. I really hope it's not over though. So many more I need. Even if they bring them back in smaller quantities I would be all for it. The ones I really want I preorder anyway. I only wait to buy the ones I have little interest in when they go on sale. And until the price hike, I used to preorder whole waves.
Unless the sales figures really were dismal, and I bet the PFP packaging hit this line hard because it removed the impulse buyer, I don't see Hasbro letting this brand languish too long. It's too easy to make new characters with their buck system!
It's tailor-designed for boxsets! They can Pulse exclusive those and just release a team at a time. I'm sure that would be a successful new distro method.

I want the entire Ninja Storm Team and SPD Kat Ranger. She is a glaring omission since they did the rest of the team. She was honestly my fave character from that season and when she got a suit I was over the moon. Too bad it wasn't till closer to the end. But then they put her in the game, and she was such a badass in there. I really would love a figure of her.
Mine would be Rito. Kinda surprised Super7 hasn't tried to do him. I'm sad their Madame Woe was cancelled.
Squatt/Baboo, the MMPR Bumblebee and Bulk and Skull would round out the villains for me. Weirdly, I think I only ever saw the MMPR movie once so Ivan isn't a need.

You are correct about the buck system. You are correct about box set distribution.
Hasbro LOVES making money off of the same thing over and over. Think Marvel Legends, only with PR they aren't paying the dread license fees (which is the scape goat every time the topic turns to ML mediocrity).
Releasing complete teams in box sets all in one shot is a good way to knock out many of these teams that haven't even been touched yet. Heck, they can even double dip on teams that they only made two or three figures for. Tell us this is the only way Dino Fury (for example) will ever be complete so sorry/not sorry, you're just going to have to rebuy a couple of these guys. Fans would do it in an instant. With these teams, people are either going to be all in or they're going to be out. No one is saying, "Well, I only want Time Force Green and no one else." There's no reason they shouldn't do more box sets like Alien and Omega Rangers.
Changing grears. I know 'tis the season for lists, but I really don't have even five figures that I REALLY want to see. I am very content with where my PR collection is at and I don't have a huge need for it to grow.

I don't even have a strong desire to get Squat, Baboo, or Rito. If Hasbro makes them I'd probably bite, but it would just be gravy. I'm very good on PR.
Oh I forgot to mention that new girl green ranger looks sick. I would take a figure of that. And it's not like they'd have to do much. Just paint a girl body and either make a new Dragon Shield or use the one that comes with the Remastered Green Tommy since that is supposed to be able to fit on the chicks too. But I would kind of like them to scale the helmet down slightly. They just used the normal helmets for the color swap Trini/Jason 2 pack, and those helmets look awful gender swapped. Sabertooth Tigers helmet looks way too small on Jason's body, and Tyrano looks way too big, like a bobble head, on Trini.
I also wouldn't mind Drakkon Evo 2. Even though the og suit is my fave, the Evo 2 suit looks really cool. I find it odd they did Evo 3 and skipped Evo 2, even though it would've been an easier figure to do.

My only reluctance to team box sets is that they haven't been including unmasked heads in their box sets, and those were a favorite part of the line.
Otherwise 100% yes. Way more likely to have matching paint, fer instance, and I'd even let them upcharge me a bit too include all their weapons and weapon variants.
I'm thinking of getting the ZAP Zords in the future. Some of them went down in price, so they're not super overpriced now. And I saw pics of what the new Zords look like in the Legacy Titanus, and the parts actually all fit fairly well. I'm still debating on it. I will miss the heft of the metal. But the posability of them is really nice. And they're painted instead of stickered. The new Dragonzord won't match my black and gold one though. But it may not look too bad side by side. The Astro one is the one I'd be most interested in cause I don't have one of those at all, but it's still overpriced. I'll have to wait longer on that. But I love me some In Space Ranger stuff. And that Megazord was pretty sweet. I hope, if they continue to do them, that the Mega Winger is next to go alongside the Astro.
