Weird question: I don't collect Power Rangers, but I want the Minotaur for a custom. Can anyone attest to how big the ball is that the head attaches to? Would it work with any Mythic Legions?

I finally finished painting my Eye Guy and giving him the wash. Took around 8 hours. Insane.

BTW if these don't work for people let me know and I'll find another way to post pics.

8 hours, but worth it.  Man, these monsters look so good when they're painted.  If Hasbro would have done it for us rather than making it a DIY project for the fans, I'd have bought all of them.

Thanks guys. I'm still not sure all pupils will hold up over time, because of where they are. Mainly on the arms. A couple of them rub up against the shoulder in certain poses, and I had to redo them a couple times while giving him the wash cause moving his arms made them rub against the body. But if I'm careful with posing he should be fine for the most part. Those pupils took forever, and I know I didn't get all of them perfectly round. It is really hard to free hand a close to perfect circle, especially on a bubble. Some are also on the sturdier slicker plastic, and those may rub off with some over touching, because of the plastic type. It was a very long project lol.

An objectively amazing figure even if you don't know Power Rangers.  I'm surprised I only own two.

(I'm talking about the single release, here.  The two pack is a big down grade in the paint department.)

You are correct. its amazing. i stumbled upon it on You tube and i was like WTF? its like the first line from 4horsemen with the warrior birds (Gothitropolis)

LOL

🤣

The Tengu figures are amazing, but do not compare to the 4H Gothitropolis figures. BTW, that was FAR from the 4H's "first line" of figures.

Do yourself a favor and Google "4 Horsemen 7th Kingdom figures".

My friend went to a bunch of Ross stores today and found a few PR figures for $8 or less. He nabbed me black suit MMPR Adam, Dino Fury red, and SPD A Squad red and yellow. And yellow was only $6 instead of $8. I vaguely remember something being wrong with A Squad reds helmet and people needed to contact Hasbro to get a replacement. Does anyone know any details on that and if they're still giving them out? Do I need a receipt or would just a picture of the figure and box be enough? He's supposed to be mailing them to me in a couple days and I was wondering if he needed to send the receipt too.

He also saw TJ with the Glider but I didn't want it so I didn't ask how much it was. If I had to guess maybe $15 or so. And he said they had a bunch of them. The only one he only found 1 of was Dino Fury red, which I thought was odd. But the rest there were quite a few of. I wasn't originally going to get the A Squad figures, but $8 and $6 was too good to pass up. Now I'll have to track down green and pink lol.

$8 was the price someone reported on a local FB group.

After getting the Remastered figures I did a massive thinning out of my LC stuff and my complete In Space team was one that got cut.  I liked that series and I liked the figures, but I have no room to display.  The less you have, the more you appreciate it 🙂

I'd never cut that team. That's probably my 3rd fave team. And it's one of the best all around for characters. Most teams there are 1 or 2 members that I don't care about, like they could just not be there and I wouldn't even notice. Or some teams where I straight up don't like a character at all. But that team is one that I like every member. There are only a couple of those for me, so that's saying something lol.

Have to say that I notice that people who aren't fans of Power Rangers state as much moreso than any other pop culture brand in existence. I guess that's why it's on hiatus.

It was A-Squad Pink that needed the replacement helmet. The shape of the visor is incorrect.

I actually have an extra A-Squad Green if you end up wanting it. Couldn't go that cheap though.

Where was I when they announced Dino Fury Blue? I remember them talking about Lightspeed Rescue Blue, but not Dino Fury.

Umm, I'll have to think about the green. I spent way too much the last couple weeks. And I'm still not 100% sure I care to finish A Squad. But being 2 figures away after my friend sends me the others I probably will try eventually. Just annoyed at them not having unhelmeted heads, and the suit designs themselves are boring lol. Hence why I was gonna skip them originally. The $8 price tag is what got me.

I have not followed this line at all, but my son has recently gotten into watching Dino Fury. I managed to pick him up the few that have been release. Any news on the rest of the team or are things still on hiatus?

Happy to be back on the Fwoosh! Hello old friends 🙂 Here's hoping the site doesn't crash again.

I got Rita and she's...amazing. She's just incredible. Although I did notice something really strange...when you lift up her skirt, one of her legs sits lower in the hip socket than the other. Meaning, if you make both of her feet flat, one is longer than the other. I saw this on two separate Ritas. Not sure what's going on there. A manufacturer's defect? Having seen it on two separate figures, I'm not sure...

Rita can still stand, of course, but you have to position one leg with a slight bend in it for it to work. Otherwise she'd teeter.

Also, does anyone have a picture of Super7's Goldar alongside Hasbro's King Sphynx? They seem like they might be the same approximate size, but I'm not entirely sure and no YT reviews have revealed the answer to this question. Thanks!

Any word on what's happening with future waves? I know Hasbro was planning on slowing down but I would be stunned if they never try to make a Baboo or Squat. Any rumblings?

Lastly, how deep did they get into the Mystic Force team and characters? I can't help but wonder if Mystic Mother is on their radar...

I don't think there will ever be an official word on the hiatus or not. They just probably won't say anything at all. They won't show new figures, or mention the line. I'm not even sure what they'd do or say if asked outright at a con or toy show. But if the no news is any news, it's that they probably won't be making any more for a bit. So it may take a little while to get the whole team, if ever. They may have the whole team in the cheaper line. As I don't buy those though, I'm not sure if they do or not. I did read that they scale well with the Lightning figures though. Just less articulation, probably less accessories, and I'd bet no unmasked heads. So if he doesn't mind that, it may an option.

I got my stuff in the mail from my friend who nabbed a bunch of PR figures at Ross for me.

The A Squad rangers are very basic. Makes me remember why I didn't really care if I got them or not. And they can't hold their guns for shit. Fairly annoying. Just basic blank bodies with crappy dirt bike gear. But that's not even really Hasbros fault. A Squad was just so bland in the show. The only thing they had good was the cool refit helmets from In Space. Don't even get signature weapons. Surprised they showed them without their helmets for like 30 seconds honestly.

MMPR Adam is cool. I like how he comes with all the versions of the blade blaster. And how he also has a different head then the previous 2. Still looks like him too. He seems to be easy for them to get right. Ill probably use this head on the metallic one. Him not having an axe is irritating. But I have an extra I can give him. Paint is all pretty good on him too. Quite surprised since the MMPR figures are notorious for having issues.

I don't know his name, I really should look it up, but I haven't watched the season yet. But Dino Fury Red is actually pretty cool. I like the suit design. I skipped the Beast Morphers cause I didn't like the outfits much, and I didn't watch that season either yet. But this outfit is nice. The helmet is especially cool. I love the design. It makes me actually wanna get the rest of the team. And having a green ranger female is really cool. That makes me smile. He has pins though. Usually I wouldn't care. But I have a feeling the next ones won't. It just annoys me when the figures from the same teams aren't uniform. Some have pins, some don't. The paint is different detail wise on the weapons, or the morpher, or the belts. Or some even have pins on the legs but not the arms. So many teams now with mish mash looks. At least the figures are looking better as a whole nowadays, and have fewer paint problems. I don't have to touch up anything (well maybe the morpher since it's pure black, but I may just leave it).

In fact, I only have to do a little touch up to A Squad Yellows helmet. Otherwise, I just need to use sealer on all the white and painted weapons and helmets. Have I mentioned recently how much it kinda sucks they're taking a break now that they actually are doing pretty good at making these? Lol. Minotaur is awesome. These Dino Fury figures are awesome. And they're starting to actually do the suits and characters justice.

MMPR Adam is one of the best pre Remastered figures they've done (along with White Ranger).  Besides the Adam likeness and the three blade blaster configurations you already mentioned, the helmet is spot-on.  Missing the ax, of course, because since it's Hasbro, they won't give you a perfect version of anything.  If the rest of the initial run of MMPR came out like this, I wouldn't have gone with the Remasters.

Yeah, I liked the Dino Fury show a lot, but the fact that them completing the team is questionable at this point, I'm not going to take the plunge on the three figures.  They look good though.

PS--I just sold my 6 empty Remastered boxes for a nice chunk of change.  I've never attempted to sell empty boxes before.  They were just going to go to the recycling when I thought, "Why not try, at least".  Buyer understands that they're empty, so it's a win-win.
