Indy having baddies is cool and all (I'm liking the Epic Hacks skeletons for this, they even fit the tomb robber theme of Indy) but I think what Dr. Jones really needs is a buddy with his same penchant for punching fascists.

I feel like this photo makes the Funko Rocketeer look a little bigger than he actually is. They scale really nicely next to each other.

I just wish there was a some transparency with those who make this line. Just tell us, "this is it" or "stay tuned". Don't leave us hanging.

It is really frustrating. I can only encourage everyone to keep on pestering hasbro about the Adventure Series.

It also seems like it's sold well. The only thing that got clearanced out were the Target exclusives which ALWAYS happens.

It's not like the Ghostbusters figs that just sat on the shelves.

Even Star Wars figures sit longer.

I don't even care if we just get more suit guys like Lao Che, I just want more figures.

Make sure y'all stream Dial of Destiny. 😉

After rewatching it's a shame we didn't get Teddy.

What do you guys think of the Sh Figuarts Indy? From the photos and reviews it honestly looks great, very good likeness to Harrison. It apparently goes well with the hasbro line.

I have him on display with my Hasbro figures (put the Raiders Indy and Temple Escape in storage) and I used one of the extra heads on my Cairo Indy. He is a great figure and easily looks the best out of any of the 6" Indy figures we got.

Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one who doesn't get the hype over Figuarts.

Personally I've never seen them put out a good likeness of an actor/actress. They always look too soft to me.

I'm with you. I saw Figuarts as an alternative to ML for the face printing. That tech was definitely ahead of what Hasbro was doing, when Hasbro wasn't using that face printing tech. But now that they are, I see Figuarts as obsolete. What they offer is too similar to what Hasbro does for a quarter of the cost. I don't like feeling like my figures are delicate and have to be careful around them. I like the premium feel, but not for a massive universe building collection like ML. They do look good to me, but not $60-75 better than mass market figures.

You'd have to buy an awful lot of $25 Hasbro Indys to approximate the value of the Figuarts release, even then they'd fall short in basically every category.

Figuarts bombs plenty, but this isn't one of those times. Their Indy is as definitive as a single 1/12 figure can be.

They're better in person. Cameras pick up the digital printing more than the naked eye does. I've got a few SW Figuarts and a few MCU and DC ones and while the odd one can be off, they do nail quite a few. That said, Hasbro has caught up a fair bit in that area, so it's closed the gap.

I do really want the Figuarts Indy, the smiling face alone looks amazing. Just getting harder to justify the spend.

The glam photos of Figuarts Indy are excellent. Love the versatility, with parts for multiple looks. The expressions are good, though the likeness doesn't always translate in person. This one does look good. But I don't think I'd cave since I've got the complete Adventure Series at this point.

Figuarts may be the best indy on the market for quite a while.  Not sure the cloth goods on next year's Mezco Indy will hold a candle to the clothing details on the Figuarts.  I didn't realize the Figuarts had released recently, and he looks incredible in the Youtube reviews.  I'm particularly surprised that he's almost exactly the same height as the Hasbro Indy figures minus maybe a quarter to an eighth of an inch, or maybe not even that much.  Easy buy, and I'm sure this guy will be gone and double the current retail price in a year.

Wish they had included a few more arms with ripped sleeves and no sleeves, and a torso with a tie.  This Indy would replace almost every Hasbro Indy with those inclusions aside from the ones where he's wearing an entirely different outfit like Professor Indy or Map Room Indy.

One interesting thing I saw in the YouTube reviews for the Figuarts is that he is not being released in the United States because Bandai couldn't get the rights to the character.  I had already sort of noticed this because BBTS doesn't have him. I wonder why? Did Hasbro prevent that somehow, or did Lucasfilm not want to give them?

Either way it's odd that they couldn't get the rights yet went ahead and made the figure anyway...I'm always confused about how international copyright works.  Maybe Lucasfilm never filed the copyright on Indiana Jones in Japan so there's nothing they could do about releasing in that country or the others where they don't hold the copyright?  Usually film companies register trademarks and copyrights in every country they think they will air a film, and Indiana Jones films have been shown in Japan in the past. So I would think they already do have trademarks and copyrights there, so I'm not sure how Bandai made this figure.

I think it's more like they don't have the rights to produce a 6" figure in the states, because hasbro has the license for that.
