@slixta Good line up, and pretty much what I think we all want. What's your reasoning behind giving the Crystal Skeleton Throne 2 waves? Does it include the skeleton as well, since it's missing from your list? Good idea making a mine cart BAA. Never thought of that, but that would be a lot of fun.

I hope they squeeze out one more wave (even as an exclusive) or some two packs.
At a minimum, if they can do a wave with:
- Any version of Willie
- Mola Ram
- KotCS Indy
- Mutt
- Irina
I would feel that this line is "complete" in the sense that they hit all the lead characters and primary villains at least once. I'd take a ToD 2-pack and a KotCS 3 pack if they have to do it that way.
Renaldo's ship finally pulled in last night and I was able to add him to the collection. Barring Cairo Indy (who I'd only ever get if he went on sale), that's all of 'em. For what was essentially my least anticipated figure, he turned out really nicely, I must say. He's crisp and clean, with great articulation. Only downside is the lack of accessories, but I'm not really sure what else he could come with. Still not entirely sure he was necessary, and Hasbro definitely knew that and gave him arguably the most crucial piece of the BAA, but I'm glad to have him.
The Grail Table is absolutely beautiful as well. Might be my favorite of the 3. The little divets in the table for each of the pieces is a nice touch, and will hopefully help keep the pieces from falling over or going missing as easily. Might do what I did with the Sankara Stones and just glue them into place once I find a configuration I like, so as not to have them end up as a cat toy one day.
I suppose I've reached the bargaining portion of my grief. Been trying to think of ways that Hasbro could potentially save a few bucks on the next wave (assuming that's even a concern). Since I'd assume the part re-use would continue, even bringing in some Black Series parts for Irina, I wonder if cutting the build-an-artifact would be a cost-effective measure. Or swap it out for a BAF instead- most likely Mola Ram, as collectors who want him would feel compelled to still buy the whole wave, but those offended by him wouldn't have to. Don't get me wrong- I don't think I'd want him as a BAF, but if it's the only way to get him.
I'd still love a Crystal Skull Throne (the most likely candidate for a BAA), but if released as a deluxe, then you could potentially get the best of all worlds- those who want it can get it, those who want to recreate the scene to a fuller extent could get multiples, and those who hate it could skip. Though, I gotta say, even for those who hate the movie, the idea of a crystal alien skeleton on a golden throne would still look awesome on a shelf. And having the Crystal Skeleton, which would obviously require all new parts, be part of a deluxe, they could price it however they want to get the cost back, and you'd open up a slot (technically 2, if Mola is the BAF) in the wave for another character. Bada bing, bada boom.
Finally ordered the full last wave and the Belloq/Brody 2 pack so once they get in I'll have the full collection. I tried to display them with the boxes behind them but it ended up taking too much space and being too cluttered -- but I'm not throwing the boxes out either.
I did take the regular wave 1 and the Temple escape Indy off display (since they were essentially the same figure) and replaced him with the Figuarts. I also replaced the head off Cairo Indy with an alternate hear from Figuarts too.
This is the first and only wave I've collected every figure of so I'm in for anything they release at this point now just so I have the full collection.
Barring Cairo Indy (who I'd only ever get if he went on sale), that's all of 'em.
I'm not exactly thrilled about his price tag, but I gotta say that Cairo Indy is perhaps, surprisingly, my favorite of the Indy bunch. He has a bit more range in his ellbows and there is just something about his disheveled look that makes him fun to pose. You can get him into really convincing, slouching "god is this hot in here" poses.

Welcome to THAT awful club. Being in the headspae of an Hasbro accountant is no fun. But I agree with you, I'd happily give up on the BaA-parts, if that would mean one or two more figures for us. But I think they would kinda need the BaA-thing in the regular waves to get some of the not so integral characters out of the door.
I don't think there's many non integral characters left in which they would delve that much further in the line for.
I think most likely would be Crystal Skull Indy, another Indy variant (maybe in German soldier disguise w/out any kind of Nazi Insignia), Marion (Well of Souls) and Willie Scott. I'm still shocked they didn't choose her over Hypnotized Indy so there may be something with her likeness preventing them from making a figure of her. She is wearing the Indian gown and a Chinese dress as her two main looks but surely that shouldn't be an issue of them making a figure of her so if there's no likeness issue I think it's most likely because they didn't want to spend the money on new parts.

If (big If) the rumors are true and Mola Ram got cancelled last minute, then I think they simply choose Hypnotized Indy over Willie, because he was easy and quickly to do. Willie would have required an entirely new sculpt and that takes time. Then again, she didn't turn up in wave three either, so maybe they really never had her in mind. It's just frustrating that we basically know nothing. The Black Series/Adventure Series team is good when it comes to sculping and all, but when it comes to communicating/interacting with the customers, they are terrible (cons aside).
I’m procrastinating buying the two last Dial of Destiny figures. Pappy and German guy are just pieces I get with the BAA.
Jr and Sr are marvelous! Just wonderful final pieces. I wish there were an open umbrella and broken fake Ming vase. Poe in the sky wish is the motorcycle with side car. Grail knight is great. Elsa is ok. I enjoy this wave quite a bit.
If Willie and Mola Ram had come that would have been my favorite wave. Crusade wave is the best only edging Raiders wave by a small margin.

Yeah I made a mistake, one wave was supposed to be the skeleton, the next the throne.

I didn't even think about them skipping Willie because of "cultural appropriation" nonsense. It wouldn't shock me in the slightest if that's what it came down to.
If that's the case I'd still happily take PJ's Willie or Indy's clothes Willie just to get her.
Finally got the Grail Knight, Henry Jones Senior and Map Room and LC Indy. The Grail Knight really is a standout figure. Just an all around fantastic sculpt, perfect likeness and good paint. He is pretty hefty too. Love him! Senior may be mostly a re-use of Professor Indy (the overlay jackes is stlightly new, to my surprise), but he is a ton of fun. Just oozes that strict-dad connery charme. I wasn't to wild about map room Indy, but he does look fantastic. LC Indy is another fine addition. Great headsculpt and the movable hat is a cool idea. Only four more to go. Man, I hope it doesn't end here.

I'm still miffed over the fact that we haven't gottan any army builders. So I looked a bit around for something that might serve as a surrogate and I found these Fist Ninjas from Marvel Legends. They come with two headsculpts - a hooded ninja one and a skeleton one -, two guns, fist and gripping hands and work pretty well. Especially to fill out the missing ToD holes. Indy has finally someone to fight and they bring some much needed color into the display. One could either think of a new story here, or just go with a temple of doom alternate, where Indy stumbled upon a chinese death cult. I put the head from Marvel Legends Wenwu on one of the figures and he makes a compelling leader/villain.
I'm kinda itching to build the temple of doom now 😀
