Mafex Indy is interesting. Any photos next to the Hasbro figures?
Where are you seeing this? Not seeing it on ToyArk, nor in a Google search.

Could Mafex be our best hope for missing characters?
He seems a bit smaller than the Hasbro figure(s). About the size of Toht perhaps.
Unfortunately I don’t think Figuarts or Mezco will do any figures Hasbro didn’t do.
And I don’t think they will do much outside of Indy variations or Toht either. Maybe we’ll get a Senior and we’d be lucky to get Marion and Belloq, imo.
Got notice from Amazon that the Last Crusade/DoD wave (sans Grail Knight, who I already have) will be here Monday. Expensive day for me, but worth it. Been seeing the wave in a few LCS recently, but at a markup that puts each over 30. Don't know if I could've justified that price (I know, I know- gotta do what you can to support the line, but still).
Well, Amazon switched some dates around on me, but I did get Elsa and Voller yesterday, and am due to get Junior today. Just missing Senior and Renaldo.
I quite like Elsa. Maybe it's because she's finally using new parts (for the wave, at least), but she's really nice. Don't know why, but I've always loved goggles on figures, especially ones that hang around then neck- it's just always felt so cool to me. Maybe that's my inner 90's kid coming back. Between Elsa and the final Obi Wan figure this week, it's a good week for neck goggles. She'd make an excellent base for a custom Talia al Ghul, too; eager to see if anyone gives that a try.
Voller looks nice, and there's nothing explicitly wrong with him. I wish maybe the hat were removable, or his bag could open- you know, something to give him some flair, since they didn't give him any accessories (I consider the bag and glasses more of a costume piece). He really needed a gun or something- maybe the Dial, but I get they may have held off for spoiler purposes. Hopefully we can get it somehow, otherwise I'm sure customizers will have one 3D printed before long. Maybe I'll give him one of the extra guns that came with Kazim to spruce him up a little.
Excited to get the last few figures to complete the table. Even in the piecemeal condition I have it in now, I can tell it's going to look really nice.
So I'd been holding off grabbing this line because I didn't really think I needed anyone but Indy for my shelves. I grabbed Last Crusade Indy because it seemed like the reviews were that it fixed some of the issues with previous Indy's from the line (mainly the stuff with the belt). Dang, I like him a lot. the articulated hat is kind of brilliant, and aside from a lack of extra hands, I really like him.
Now I'm feeling like I want some of the others... dangit. All I wanted was a good Indy to have next to my Rocketeer.
So what’s so great about this articulated hat? Does it do more than swivel? Mine just rotates slightly left or right. I don’t see what the benefit of that is. Does it also pivot?
@normdapito You can pivot it forward or back, bringing it down over the eyes or back further showing more forehead. Gives a nice range of Indy attitudes with just a bit of tilt. Heck you can bring it far enough forward that it looks like he's sleeping even.

Wow, that's awesome! I went to check it out, and lo and behold, I had been missing out on this feature! So I tried swapping this superior head onto a "standard" Indy (just used the first one from RotLA) and they have different neck lengths. RotLA is shorter, TLC is longer. So the TLC head sits low on the RotLA body. I experimented with other Indys, particularly the Cairo Indy. That figure has an entirely different sized neck peg. It's bigger than the aforementioned two. That kind of thing is a mystery to me, why in the world would they bother to change the size of the neck pegs between Indy figures? So much is reuse, but then they go and change something that isn't even visible. I guess since the Cairo figure uses an entirely different neck and torso as the standard RotLA figure? Still seems unnecessary. Really strange how a line with so much reuse still manages so much incompatibility between figures.

Man, that's a bummer. Just like you, I wanted to put that head on other bodies. I don't get it. Why would you, as a toy company, actively work against customizing - especially fairly easy customizing -, like swapping heads? These things generate more sales. Like... wtf? Some of the guys at hasbro really don't communicate with each other, the factories and us, do they?
@normdapito Well, that's a bummer to find out, because I was considering the same swap, but really good to know so I don't waste the money.
That said, I do think I'm going to see if I can grab the extra hands off ebay. An Indy who can't punch people feels wrong. Maybe I'll even see if I can grab the backpack from the DoD Indy as that seemed like a good accessory as well.
Poor Renaldo seems lost in the Amazon shuffle. Shipped on Wednesday and is still making his way to me, Prime shipping be damned. Should hopefully get here soon; were it not for his crucial table piece, I'd just say screw it. Wouldn't say he's a necessary figure; I do wish his spot had gone to either Teddy or Klaber, but I'm sure Hasbro had no way of knowing his role would be so small.
After him, I'll just need old Henry to finish things up. Odd that he was the one who started popping up for folks first, but he's the last one to ship for me.
Got all of my Last Crusade wave in! I love these figures so much!
Indy's hat articulation is a nice touch.
My only issue with Elsa is that her eyes should be a little bigger. Allison Doody has some pretty large eyes and it's the only thing throwing off the likeness for me.
Henry Jones is just perfection.
The Grail Knight is not a figure I would have ever asked for or had on a Wishlist, but he's just so shockingly well done.
Jurgen Voller is probably the best Mads likeness we've ever had, shame that the hat isn't removeable.
Renaldo shockingly one of my favorites, the sculpting is just absolutely perfect and it looks exactly like Antonio Banderas. He also looks great next to Shipwreck from GI Joe Classified, like he could be his Dad or something.
The Grail Table is very well done too! I just wish that everything could attach a little more securely because I could see a lot of these things getting lost.
I really pray this isn't the end of the line. There's so much that is well done, but there's a lot of glaring holes that I really can't get passed.
Willie Scott and Mola Ram are the biggest and most notable absences in the entire line.
I know that Crystal Skull was very much maligned, but to skip over it entirely is just wrong.
I really want to see either three more waves or a two-pack for each movie.
Wave 4 (Mine Cart)
- Indiana Jones (Raiders Soldier Disguise)
- Willie Scott (Sacrificial Gown)
- Mola Ram
- Colonel Dietrich
- Marion Ravenwood (Well of Souls)
- Teddy (with Dial of Destiny)
Wave 5 (Crystal Skeleton)
- Indiana Jones (Crystal Skull)
- Marion Ravenwood (Crystal Skull)
- Mutt Williams
- Irina Spalko
- Oxley
- Mac
Wave 6 (Crystal Skeleton Throne)
- Young Indiana Jones
- Willie Scott (Club Obi-Wan)
- Lao Che
- Vogel
- Sallah (Last Crusade)
- Klaber
or
Raider of the Lost Ark - Marion & Dietrich
Temple of Doom - Willie Scott & Mola Ram
Last Crusade - Vogel & Sallah
Kingdom of the Crystal Skull - Mutt & Irina
Dial of Destiny - Teddy & Klaber
I'd honest cancel every other figure line I collect to keep this one going.
Got Senior yesterday. Never got a shipping notice for him, but there he was, waiting for me! Renaldo is still floating out there somewhere in the ether. Need him to complete my table and have a place to put all these cups and flames!
I got into the line a bit begrudgingly. I like the movies and think they're a lot of fun, but don't share the same love that everyone else does. But there was something special about these figures. I don't know if I just got swept up into the hype somehow, but I really liked tracking them all down. Even with the obscene amount of re-use and the fact that most of them boil down to "guy in suit", they turned out to be a lot of fun and quite well made, and I'd love for things to continue, even for another wave or 2. At least from all the comments on this site, it looks like the demand is there, even for what many consider to be the "worst" movie of the series.
I certainly see the figures move- only ever saw Short Round once, and boy am I glad now that I grabbed him. The only one that ever really stuck around was Club Obi Wan Indy and Kazim, the former being the greater offender, but even he moved eventually. Don't know if I ever saw Raiders Indy in store, and DoD Indy only once. There's certainly still demand for these guys.
