For anyone that has the Squash and Squeeze Slimer, how does he scale with the Plasma Series figures? Too big or just right?
I'm looking forward to Frozen Empire more and more, and it's too bad that the Plasma Series isn't happening anymore. This time we actually get a new antagonist, and there apparently won't be a figure for them. I'm thinking about maybe grabbing another original Ghostbuster figure to do a head swap with one of my Paul Rudd Ant-Man heads to at least get his character represented.
Today I finally did find Ghostbusters Frozen Empire Merch at Wal-Mart. They had a big cardboard cutout display just out from the toy aisles that had the basic 5" figures, the Ecto-1, the big squishy Slimer toy, and the kids Neutrona wand.
I picked up Paul Rudds Gary Grooberson figure as it was the only one I still needed. But be on the lookout for the big display.
GB fans - question! I'm thinking of making a What If? skinny Steve Rogers using a GB body after I saw a version on Ebay. I don't so much care about the articulation but about the size and look. Which body would be best - a Plasma Podcast or Stranger Things kid, or one of the newer, more animated-styled figures? Which would size more appropriately to ML and the Steve BAF head that came with Agatha/Hydra Stomper?
Thank you!
Well, it seems hasbro is gonna announce some GB products. Hopefully it will be more Plasma Series figures, but I doubt it.
I doubt it at this point. Unless the movie is some sort of incredibly surprising box office success, which I also doubt it will be.
When is the big announcement coming?
Well unless Hasbro reveals something today the "big" announcement was a rerelease of the transformers Ecto 1. I'm honestly pretty tired of how Hasbro is handling this franchaise. I really wish Neca or Sh Figuarts made OG Ghostbusters figures. Heck even Mattel did a better job back in the day.
@spinc I heard they are having some kind of new product reveal on Saturday, March 30.
@yojoebro82 I absolutely love these too. I hope they expand on what is shown here and get characters from the new movies and ghosts in the line.
Let them rot in clearance hell with some of the other junk they wasted their time on. They could've done so much with the license and boy they squandered it.
This is so 80s. I mean they seem to want to do a smaller scale. Plasma series is short. The retro product is small. I like a nice display possiblity in this scale. Plus now the Stay Puff Man banks tower over them. They could do ghost packs with proton neutrino wands. 1:18 looks like a good scale to explore.
Thwipp!
