I wouldn't mind better goggles...

Though, what could they package it with to justify the HasLab pricepoint? Giga-Meter? Bacharach Sniffer? K.U.D. Meter? Lifegard?

We've go pics of the kiddie figures for Frozen Empire.  I might be interested in that Slimer to go with my Plasma Series..  Does he make sounds?  I can't tell.

I definitely need Plasma figures of Gary & Callie to go with the previous waves.

*sigh* C'mon, Hasbro, and *SIGH* c'mon, GB collectors - we're too big of a collecting community to NOT have a Black Series-level collection of action figures.

This product leak seems to indicate that we will be getting a 3 3/4” Ghostbusters action figure line in addition to the 5” line and Plasma Series! I wonder if we might see a Firehouse playset and Staypuft Marshmallow Man to scale also?

Found a couple Fright Features Real Ghostbusters at Target today.  They had Venkman and Spengler, so I picked them up.  I have the originals, but I like buying these re-releases.   I can open them up and mess with them.

I'm glad in April these will be available at more retailers.  the fact these are just at Target, and Target IS NOT going to sell them online is crazy.

Picked up the entire Fright Features line today at Gamestop(Canada). More durable than originals! Good deal too.

Hope they release a Janine. So happy to have them again.

I've only come across Egon from the Fright Features figures, but I'm in for all four. Those were the GB figures I grew up with (caught on to the line just a little too late for the original RGB figures, which I did pick up from Walmart when they were reissued). I didn't realize they'd be available elsewhere. That's good news.

I've seen plenty of the Frozen Empire figures so far. Ecto-1, the kids, the neutron wand, etc.

I wonder how a fairly priced HasLab Plasma Series Ecto-1 would do?

Maybe RamenToys could pull through?

@slixta I don't think there's a way Ramen could get away with that. The stuff they've been offering with the 1/12 vehicles they have is mostly either generic (the black charger with regular kit mods just isn't distinctive enough), or referencing properties that aren't really in the same action figure space (Dukes of Hazard and A-Team). They already had to back off a bit on their Top-Gun stuff and offer the Maverick head as a bonus, and I think the Ecto-1 would be way riskier.

A 1/12 Ecto-1 would be unmistakable as anything else, and would step into a space where Hasbro is already putting out product (however anemic their output might be). I think it would be a great way to get sued. It's not the same as producing option parts or stuff like that, it's making a product that could confuse/threaten the brand (from a legal department's perspective).

That said, I do think a Haslab would work, especially if they put the kind of effort in that they seem to have on the HISS/ the GB cosplay props. And I think they kind of have the format for it ready to roll. You could do the car and specific repaints of the original four. Either give them the same bodies but with RGB cartoon colors (which i think they should've done already) or do the GB 2 grey suit versions and maybe pack them with the slime blowers. That's sort of the cheap grab that people would probably consider value, but wouldn't necessarily drive up the overall cost that much (esp if it was only repaints and not the slime blowers, only new tooling would be the car). Probably wouldn't annoy collectors who can't afford the car but get prickly when new figures are "locked" behind the crowdfund.

That, or they could ignore that concern and do the side characters like Lewis in jumpsuit and a Janine. Or maybe a Walter Peck (especially since he's making a comeback in the new film) and a Viggo the Carpathian (or Yanosh).

There's definitely a full campaign there that I think would do very well. And I think there's more collectors who would want the car for it's own sake than would necessarily want the full GB line. The car on it's own is icon enough for a lot of people's shelves I think.

@jakeekiss Ramen Toys has said on one of their videos they are talking to powers that be about licensing vehicles.

@mr_articulate And that would be the only way it would happen. And maybe they'd license this, though I think it'd probably be easier for them to go for other cars first.

I really like the kids toys for Frozen Empire.  I liked them for Afterlife too, but this time with the inclusion of the ghosts you can stretch over the figures heads and make it look like they've been slimed is really cool.

I picked up Callie and Phoebe and will definitely pick up the others and x2 of Ecto-1 when I find them.

I wish we would get a Janine in Ghostbusters attire for this line.  And I still wish Hasbro would do a Real Ghostbusters Fire Station Haslab.

Personally I would love to see Real GBs Plasma Series figures... reuse the movie bodies, just make new heads and accessories. Add a Janine and Slimer, and a BAF Samhein, and you have a best selling line right there!

Same, but after the Terror Sentinel, the body would be one solid piece, and the arms would only have cut elbows & no wrists... (whereas he should be like the recent Disney+ What If...? Uatu BAF)

Has anyone found the Frozen Empire toys at Wal-Mart in the US yet?
