Yes they don't charge until the funding period ends. However when it does end they charge pretty quickly (within a couple hours at most usually).

I know through the course of a 24 hour period a Haslab can have ups and downs in the total number of backers. However it is pretty rare for a Haslab to lose backers after 24 hours when it isn't in trouble already.
The Ecto-1 isn't in trouble like say the Rancor, Reva's Lightsaber or the Engine Of Vengeance. It has been moving in the right direction the whole time. So it was a bit of a surprise to see this morning.
Now this is most likely just a blip and everything will be back on track tomorrow, but I am surprised.
Did anyone else order the GI Joe-style Ghostbusters 4 pack? They showed up in my pile of loot and I had forgotten about them. On the fence about keeping them.
I did, but through Amazon. I too have been wondering if I should keep them or not. Amazon doesn't expect to have them until February, but if BBTS has them then I'd guess they're coming sooner than that. They look fun, but I don't know that I need them.
@yojoebro82 They just hit my PoL as well, but won't have them ship for a bit do to some travel next week.
@canprime It may not be a coincidence that the O-ring set of these four figures showing up at BBTS caused a few folks to cancel the HasLab, especially if they had forgotten they had ordered them, or were planning on canceling the O-rungs only once the HasLab funded, or whatever.

I’m really not as convinced as you are that this will definitely fund. This is one of the first cracks showing. The fact that there’s no more added incentive to work towards also doesn’t help.
I feel like I’ve been waiting forever for those O-ring GBs. Mine are ordered at Pulse, but I might just order from BBTS if they’re in stock and cancel Pulse. I’ve got the 1:18 Ecto-1 waiting for them.
@normdapito I get it. However it was a one day blip and while the gains have been tiny over the last week+ it was still gains. I don't know what happened yesterday but I don't think it was the beginning of a downward turn.
Overall this is still well in the zone for funding, it just seems that the momentum that was building because of the early bird has fallen off with everyone now being comfortable waiting until the end to back. As you said there is nothing left to unlock that could incentivize people to back earlier. So basically it is now just an extended preorder, and while people can back now and not get charged until the funding period ends, people still, for some reason, wait until the end.
At the rate this is going/trending it should be less than 2,500 backers away from funding in the final couple days which should be close enough to easily fund since the last day usually mimics the first day in total number of backers.

This is the part I hate about Haslabs. The hope it will fund and knowing there isn't anything I can really do about it.

People complain that figures are locked behind tiers, so Hasbro did Giantman without figures. Then people complained that Giantman had no figures and missed a tier, so Hasbro does a Haslab with no tiers and all the figures included. Now people complain that there are no tiers.

I'm pleased as punch. I backed this early. My concern is that more people won't back it in time for the deadline without more incentive. That doesn't sound like a complaint about the campaign to me. That's a concern that more people haven't backed at this point. I want it to fund but I'm afraid it won't.
