@misfit Yeah I remember that Mattel did that with their Eternia crowdfund. King Grayskull was the early bird figure and even though it unlocked they had a good bit of bad feelings from people who didn't back early enough so they had to try and pull some shenanigans to get it out to more people. It was a bit of a S#$% show. Then of course there was the Ghost Rider Haslab and the Robbie Reyes early bird figure, and well......you know how that went.
So yeah I agree with getting rid of early birds, especially since unless they unlock they are a bit of an albatross around the neck of projects.
Too soon to ask for Vigo the Carpathian, Yanosh, Oscar, and Dana with the slime bathtub?
Smart move doing that under the guise of a Halloween treat. I don’t doubt this will fund but clearly the early bird timeframe wasn’t going to be met. Great call there!
The early bird gimmick needs to be abandoned. It's a FOMO game within a FOMO game.
So glad that the early bird thing was dropped. It wasn't even really an early bird.
Now I have no doubt this will be a successful campaign. Would be great if it still hit 12k by the end of Saturday.
Good! Now I'll fund it. YOU HEAR THAT HASBRO, NOW I'LL FUND IT!
Less to stress out over a mostly reuse figure.
Now to obsess over not having a Vigo / Yanosh / Scaleri Bros. for the collection...

Well now that Tully is no longer an early bird the pressure is off for the next few days. Two weeks in and this project is still getting triple digit daily gains. That is strong progress and this will easily fund. The only real question left is what will the final total number of backers be in the end?
I'm one of the 5 people out there who prefers GB2 to the original, so I'm crossing my fingers that they eventually do a Vigo figure (if not Hasbro, then somebody needs to do one. Give me 3rd party, even). However, getting Tully in this look is great news! Excited for next year when this actually ships.
I haven't been online much the last 2 days, so I just came to post about Tully. Me with my old news... 🤣
So 7 figures @ $25 is $175. Yes I'm counting Slimer as a full figure since we are getting extra's like the balloon, toaster, mug. That means the Ecto is just $225 for the deluxe. Honestly not too bad considering all it comes with.
Basically, I'm trying to convince myself not to back out. I've always loved the Ghostbusters, but for whatever reason, have never felt the need to collect Ghostbusters. I was almost in when the line was relaunched a few years back, but I saw how small they were next to Legends and backed right out. I know they still won't mix in, but this will make a cool looking, separate, setup on its own.
Edit: Oh, and if they ever make Yanosh, he better have a weird look on his face.

Both Mattel and DST have made him. Don't know about aftermarket costs, but the Mattel version will work just fine with the Hasbro figures.

Still moving along nicely.

Well this is the first time it hasn't hit triple digits for a daily gain. I guess now that the pressure is off for Tully the fence sitters are back on the fence.
