@normdapito Agreed.
If you look at that one pic it has the Ecto-1 with the packs on the gurney, Slimer and the Library ghost. I think that will be the offering (Library ghost, and possibly Slimer as tiers) and Tulley will be a surprise tier. Well he would have been a surprise before this leak.
The GB2 team will be a separate offering tied into the Haslab but not part of the Haslab.
Of course that is just my guess. I'll be surprised if this thing is more than $400, especially since they haven't charged more than that for any of the GB Haslabs.
Is the reveal today? Just launched on Haslab
Only $75 more for the deluxe with the 4 busters and different configurations actually seems like a really good value. I’m really just interested in the library ghost though 😆

Yeah I was pleasantly surprised by the deluxe option. Unless you don't care about the GB2 Ecto-1A, or maybe already have the team from GB1 already, I don't see the base model being as good a value as the deluxe.
I'm also pleasantly surprised by the price. I really thought it would be over $400 for everything included.
I will say I don't know that it can hit the 12,000 backers needed to unlock in 2 weeks to unlock the Louis Tully early bird tier but I hope it does.
I didn't think I was going to back this, but at the price I think I will now (deluxe version of course because I don't have any of the Plasma series figures).
I wonder if Hasbro will get the GB1 figures out again to go with the release of the Haslab next year? Otherwise those GB1 Plasma Series figures are going to become super expensive on the secondary market with people trying to get them to go with the GB1 Ecto-1 base model.
Oh and currently at 960 about 50 minutes into the funding.
On the last page I said I'd back at 200-250 max. I guess I was off the mark. Looks like the full package is double that. I think economically, it makes the most sense to back the Ecto-2 package. I'm sure that's why they're priced that way, to encourage more to back the deluxe over the base. I'm probably backing the deluxe. Especially since they come with the plasma blasters. I know their dark suits don't make a lot of appearance in the movie, but they definitely look slick in those suits.
I am shocked that the grey suit 4 pack is included in the deluxe set. I was expecting $399 for just the Ecto-1A and for Slimer and the Library ghost to be tiers. Looks like they are skipping the tier model this time and just set the backer count higher.
Too bad they made Luis an early bird that requires the goal being hit in 2 weeks. To me, an early bird special is what you give people who backed early, not an incentive that is only given if the goal is hit early. However, in the first hour of this dropping it is almost at 1k so I doubt it will be a hard goal to hit.
Got to admit though.... $399 for the ability to make 2 versions of Ecto, all 4 busters in grey suits and accessories and slime blowers, Slimer, Eleanor Twitty, AND potentially a GB2 Luis Tully... they are hitting all the marks for me on this one. I never get two of a Haslab, but this time? I put in for 2 deluxe sets.
@normdapito It was never going to be below $300. I'm actually surprised at how many figures come with the deluxe at $399.
I think the base model is there for 2 reasons. People who don't care about GB2 and people who want one of each so they can save a few bucks on a second one. Hasbro could have easily had the deluxe version the only option and made all the figures tier unlocks. I would expect the number of base models sold to be rather low, which oddly enough may make it more rare on the secondary market.

That makes plenty of sense. I probably wouldn't buy both, and I'd probably only display the 1984 version. But I'd be happy to own the GB2 figures.
And to get GB2 Louis Tully, we need 12,000 backers in two weeks? That's how I understand it... I don't know how likely that is, but also, he's not completely essential. Would be an excellent bonus.
Off, gotta think this one over. If I get it, I'm absolutely going deluxe. Way too much extras for the additional $75. I just don't know if I'm into GB enough for the $400 expenditure.
I'm so frikken' weak! Watched the video and promptly pre-ordered. Even if I change my mind before this ends, I want to help push for the 12K in 2 weeks for Tully.
I wish more people thought like you. The amount of people the say they will only back something if it gets backed is mind boggling. Like... it only gets backed if people back it!
As for Luis being unlocked, I think it's doable. It's the first 2 hours and it's passed 10% goal. Even the Haslab haters that always show up should have a hard time finding fault in this one.
That is tempting with the 4 figures, as I have not gotten any of the 1:12 GB figures.
I'd likely be non-screen accurate and go for the GB2 top (which looks cooler) but keep the cleaner GB1 look for the side of the car.
If this funds, odds of a 3 ft tall Marshmallow Man as a future HasLab?
FYI, if you scroll down on the webpage you will find the detailed break down of the deluxe version and it lists the decals a "Removable Dot-Matrix Display Decals"
So that settles it. The deluxe lets you swap back and forth. They really need to make this clearer for people.
