So for the Hordak/Grizzlor sketchbook pack, I bookmarked the page when I first heard it had popped up (after it was sold out already, of course).  Now the page says the item is not available at Target.  Do we know if that is a timed exclusive that might turn up at BBTS or similar stores later?

Nothing has been confirmed as of yet.  No matter what I bet we'll know something for certain as late as March during the MOTU reveals, but maybe as early as the next few days if news comes out of the German Toy Fair.  But it is definitely not on the Target page anymore.  I kind of imagine it will be a timed exclusive.  But nothing for certain has been said yet.

I received Modulok from Amazon today, and this thing is just batshit crazy. I looooved the original as a kid, it felt like a really special, deluxe figure before I knew there could be such a thing. It felt different, premium. Same feeling here. That is, once he's all put together. The connection points are a little rubbery, but hold together well and tightly. I'm still unsure of how to use all the additional connector pieces, but probably won't need to since I'm sticking with the standard six-legged, four-armed Modulok I grew up with. He's far more hefty than the original. He feels a lot like the Classics version (that I just recently backtracked on). I kinda wish they gave him some swappable hands or something, just for a bit more variety that goes beyond what the original offered. All in all, very pleased with this guy, and he brings me one figure closer to a complete collection.

I've got my Modulok but am waiting for a rainy (snowy?) day to open him up and geek out. I had him preordered from BBTS but then a local store had him in and I couldn't just leave him there after seeing it in box. He looks so good in box that I may just leave him like that for awhile. I love that they're still having fun with this line, and making some wild toys. Also picked up the new ToG Raph and Donnie and Rattlor, and it's not even funny how much better these new turtles are compared to the first releases. Rattlor is another rainy day open, but I already know he's in my top 10 for toys of the year.

Hopefully we get some Two-bad confirmation at Toy Fair. Hearing he was coming was the impetus I needed to get the Stranger Things He-man pack to get my be-all He-man from this line. Found one on ebay that wasn't as expensive compared to the going rate of $100 Cad (ouch), and I'm hoping I can sell the Demogorgon and Vecna on ebay to recoup some of those costs. So of course, for anyone wanting him, keep an eye on Target emails because now he's destined to come back in stock. You're all welcome.

I have Modulok pre ordered at BBTS. It never has shipped from there.  I haven't even got an e-mail saying it was on the way to BBTS and would process soon.  I may end up getting Modulok from Amazon.

The figure looks awesome in all the pics and videos I've seen.  I can't wait to get him and cross one more character off the vintage collection list.

Target's in-stock emails are worthless.  I just bookmarked a search for MotU figures and checked it daily.  The stuff goes in and out of stock so randomly...

I had the NECA Mirage Leonardo in my Target Favorites.  When he was mistakenly listed for $20 (not $35).  The email instock notification alerted me and I was able to get him for $20, so it's not totally useless.

I haven't had one work for me in a long time.  I've found stuff in stock that I had alerts set up for that I was never notified about, I've gotten alerts for things that weren't back in stock (they would just re-send the alerts every time I signed back up), etc.

@supercamel-1982 That was part of my reasoning. I had him at BBTS and it seems like other stores got theirs, but since he was right in front of me I figured better to safe than sorry, even if it cost a few dollars more.

@cmoney I did have the system notify me for the He-man/Vecna pack about two weeks ago (and of course I missed it for a few hours and they sold out). They also worked for some of the Turtles of Grayskull stuff. But I haven't been using it for very long, so I may just be getting lucky..

I got lucky with Leo the same way ashtalon did. I happened to be using my phone at the moment the alert popped up. Went right to the app and ordered. $20 for that figure is a steal. The alerts have worked for me on and off. Problem is Target has to actually list what I’m looking for. Often enough, they don’t.

I believe it was Archie TMNT Bellybomb most recently where I caught it on the site myself and was never notified despite having had a notification set up for weeks.  And then I had issues with some books and movies where I would happen to catch the email notification right away, go to the site to see it not available, sign back up for notifications, get another one an hour later, rinse and repeat.  So while I'll still sign up for notifications sometimes, I no longer rely on them or expect anything out of them.

So, it looks like "Invisible" Skeletor,  Buzz Off and Frosta are up for pre-order at BBTS today.   Frosta looks fantastic.   Buzz Off looks pretty good.   And Invisible Skeletor is ridiculously silly and might be irresistible.

Forgot to add that the Horde Trooper Concept 2-pack went live at Target this morning.   Got my order in for one.  Considered getting two for a second... but decided to wait and see.  I can pick up a second if I see it in person maybe.

I pre ordered the Concept 2 pack as well.  I also pre ordered Frosta, Buzz Off, and Invisible Skeletor.  Invisible Skeletor is such a ridiculous, stupid, damn near lazy edition to the Cartoon line.      I kind of love him.

Buzz-Off would look much more accurate if they hadn't screwed up his face paint.  It looks like it will be a pretty easy fix though with some brown paint.
