My Battle Cat should be here Friday, and I have the He-Man they offered at the same time on order at BBTS.

BC will be my first Mondo figure, and I can't wait to get the big green fur ball.

So I got my first ever Mondo figure 2 days ago and I gotta be honest here... I initially felt a bit disappointed. She felt very wobbly, getting her to stand was a bit of a chore, the complete lack of ankle pivot...

The good: aesthetically she looks amazing. Sculpt is fantastic and the paint is pretty much flawless. And I guess that's my main takeaway here: these figures should be considered statues with some movement.

Ultimately I'm happy though. The aesthetics is the main reason I got into this line and she certainly doesn't disappoint in that regard. Have He-Man on pre-order and will definitely get Teela, the new Skeletor and Evil-Lyn

Had to wait a week because I'd forgotten I'd put the shipping address as my mom's.

Build quality is what I expected, having the 4 TMNT from them.

Some joints are too tight, some aren't tight enough, which don't support the massive weight, and he is HEAVY. He's literally the size of an actual, real housecat. He definitely won't fit in my Detolf, unfortunately.

I still love him, though. He won't shed or knock the rest of my figures off the shelf.

I opened up my Battle Cat, and I cannot believe how big, and how heavy this piece is. Like TENIME said above, he is HEAVY.  And it is absolutely beautiful.  So much detail.

I do not regret purchasing this expensive big heavy bastard at all.  I love it.  I got the Deluxe He-Man and put him in his Battle Armor, and now I have Cat to put him on.  That will be it for my Mondo figure purchases, but these two pieces were just too impressive to pass up, and they will look great amongst my MOTU Collection.

It is not the least bit regretful that I bought this pricey, hefty, and big-headed beast. I just adore it. I was able to get the Deluxe He-Man action figure and outfit him with his Battle Armor. Now I have Cat to outfit him with.

There doesn't seem to be a lot of love for this line in these parts.

I recently got the standard Skeletor from Mondo.

I don't think there's much talk about this line on the forum is because Fwoosh is primarily a 6" focused board, and has been since the start of the old board.

This line is really intriguing me with what they have put out over the last year or so.

I have a regular He-Man, Battle Cat, Panthor, Skeletor and Hordak. They've shown off a Teela and Scareglow that look fantastic too so I will be picking them up for sure. I certainly won't be all-in as at this price, picking and choosing is the way to go for me, but I can't deny their quality so far.

She should be stellar going by the previous Mondo releases.

I'm so glad I can't afford to get in on the Mondo line.  Well I can financially afford it, but not the space for the figures or to go in on what?  The fourth MOTU line in recent years (CGI, Origins, Masterverse).

So I'll just appreciate from afar and keep being tempted by every release.   I came soooo close on Hordak because a local seller had him on sale (standard not exclusive) but somehow I, for once, managed to control myself.

What do yo think she'll come packed with?  I'm sure the usual stuff (shield, sword, staff) but will she get her classic headdress included, or will it be part of an exclusive offering?  Sorceress accessories as well?

Man Mondo is such a fun line.

She will come with the bronze snake armour, which will probably be some kind of overlay piece so that it works with all of her heads. Either three or four heads. A sword, a shield, a snake staff and some other staff. She will have a soft goods scarf piece and the usual extra hands too.

Hopefully she comes with more things as well, but that is the minimum accessories that I am expecting.

The Mondo line may pre-date some of those lines that you mention. I think it started in 2018 or 2019, possibly even earlier. I wonder what the start dates were for those other three lines. I would personally say that the start of the line is the date that the first figure was revealed to the public, not the release date of the first figure, but I can understand someone thinking that the date of the first release is the true start date, as the line could always get cancelled before a release occurs.

@toonturts I did a Google search and it looks like the earliest release was 2021.  So maybe a year, or two, before that would have been the first reveal.  That would put it close to the earliest reveals for the Origins line which started in 2020 (reveals in 2019).

Which would make some sense in that if Mattel was ramping up to release new MOTU product they would get things going in house and any licensee would try and get close to the release as well.

I wonder if for Teela they would include a 200X head (with ponytail) or possible a Snake Teela head

I havent gone for this line due to the cost of Mondo figures (I've likewise held off on the X-Men TAS line and only bought a couple of Batman: TAS ones) but its fun seeing them and the accessories (especially on the Timed Editions) are always impressive

I was briefly tempted to go in on the Mondo MOTU line. I'm glad I didn't, but I will thoroughly enjoy looking at other people's pictures of them.
