wwhat the heck is going on with Faker's hand in this promo pic? lmao
@normdapito oh yeah now that I look at it again, you're right.
Worth noting, he has up-down hinges on his right gripping hand, AFAIK that's a first for this line! Better late than never:
Nevermind, the other Vintage He-Man has them. Disappointed that Vintage Skeletor doesn't.
These new Origins troop-builders are all really cool, I think, and I'd love to see them replicated (and the ranks fleshed out further?) in Masterverse:

They’re cool, but they’re not doing it for me. Not til they do a classic non-cartoon style Two-Bad.
I'm all about new characters in the property if they look that cool. But I've said probably too many times that I don't collect Origins other than the ToG stuff and the upcoming Thundercats, so I'm having a hard time pulling the trigger on these. Don't wanna fall down the slippery slope of re-collecting all the Masterverse stuff in another format, especially because a) I'm sure a lot of old stuff is hard to get now and b) Mondo's still got its 1/12 offerings coming.
So, I freely admit I much prefer the Masterverse scale to Origins at this point and get jealous of all the new character love and attention that Origins gets that Masterverse doesn't. This new 4-pack is exactly the kind of thing I love in Masters of the Universe - concepts that expand the ranks of the existing factions, playing on the tropes, using some existing pieces and some new pieces to create new things. And I am jealous that Masterverse is so much slower to add those sorts of things to it's collection. We have like 5 different versions of Beastman in Masterverse now, 4 different Man At Arms, 4 different Trap Jaws - but nothing like the new Snakes that Origins added like Lady Slither, Vypor and Reptilax, Frog Monger from the package art, Kol Dar from the Filation cartoon... or the Horde concepts troopers they just added or the generic snake soldiers. That is the stuff I would die to have added to Masterverse instead of another try at Beast Man or Roboto again. Why does Origins get all the fun new stuff? It's annoying
So... BBTS just listed the Masterverse New Eternia She-Ra that I ordered from the Wal Mart Collector Con last week. I thought she was a Wal Mart exclusive, but clearly not.
Considering that the two Vintage Collection Zodac figures I ordered from Wal Mart are still in a "Delayed, check back for updates" Status - I'm wondering if I should place an order for the She-Ra at BBTS too just in case. I've lost confidence that those Zodac's are ever coming, even though the Skeletor's he went up alongside did just recently get fulfilled. Of course, I didn't order the Faker and it doesn't look like BBTS got a pre-order for him, so he might actually be a Wal Mart exclusive. Figures.

Each word of this is something I endorse.
