Yeah... I struggled to pull the trigger on Skeletor today because it was the only thing I wanted and I didn't want to pay for shipping.     I wasn't sure yesterday but was going to order it with the other stuff.   But today there is nothing else of interest to push past that dollar value and paying the extra price doesn't seem worth it.    Seems like I'll have time to figure it out maybe.

I pre ordered x2 Vintage Skeletors and x2 Vintage Zodacs.  I can't believe Zodac went up.  Nobody said anything about no damn Zodacs.

Come on Wal-Mart.  Alert me of and let me buy your exclusives.

Got an order in for vintage Skelly, and last night was able to preorder the new Masterverse Beast Man on Amazon. 
And my Horde Troopers came in yesterday and I got to open them this morning. Thanks to my amazing spouse and a second account, I was able to snag six, and I am so glad I did! This massive mecha monster, which feels like a Hulkbuster with a cooler paint job piloted by Kurt Barlow, is an absolute marvel. Masterverse is such an underrated line: their releases are sparse, but particularly New Eternia is just an amazing array of incredible figures.

I got my 2 Horde Troopers today, and I just opened them both.  This figure is really cool.  It's so big and bulky, yet it's surprisingly lite.  Even though it's lite, it still feels sturdy and well made.

My only complaint is it seems you can't really move the legs forward (like a kick) or back.  Maybe you can, but it sure doesn't feel like it on the two I have.

I ended up with the most chaotic Walmart con orders, but it worked out okay - I was on the fence about everything except Masterverse and kept changing my mind about other figures, so I added one figure ordering Zodac for free shipping, then a different figure with Skeletor for free shipping, and now I've got too much stuff preordered. 

I remain shocked at how many truly excellent Skeletor figures I have in this line. They really do a great job with him. And classic Zodac, who has always been one of my two favorite figures in MOTU since I was a kid (him and Stratos, I'll buy ANY variation of either dude).... I'm a happy guy. 

My horde trooper should be here tomorrow. I just got one - he'll be Hordak's body guard. 

Anyone else remove the shoulder pads? Great review on youtube showed that as well as swapping out the arms to dhow battle damage and reveal the goblin  insdide

I can't watch his videos.  He is the most obnoxious sounding Youtuber I've ever come across and that is saying a lot.  Which is a shame because I think his content is probably not that bad but I just can't do it.

Yeah, same boat for me. The Man Child is my go-to, but I'll watch a Mr. Home Arcade video on mute just to get a feel for a figure if he gets something up first. The voice is a complete non-starter.

On a different topic, what are the odds on Vintage Skele and Zodak being WM exclusives? Wasn't 40th He-man an exclusive there for like a year before it made it out to "fan channel" retailers? I'd be pretty disappointed if the Vintage subline is all going to be exclusive to WM, as they're basically impossible to get up here in Canada, but time will tell I guess.

I was just watching that review yesterday and cringing at the voice!  I needed a cough drop afterward.  Props to the reviewer for showing me what I wanted to see, which was the figure without that shoulderpad overlay.  Love the transparent red.  The rest of the figure isn't for me, I know it's very retro but doesn't fit into what I like for my Masterverse display, it looks too futuristic and alien.

@karl_space I get the feeling they are more of a timed exclusive for Walmart and we'll see them (Skeletor/Zodac) at other retailers next year.

Entertainment Earth has in the new Masterverse Wave with Flying Fist He-Man, Evil Lyn, and Fisto all in their New Eternia looks.  Hopefully, BBTS will get these in soon too.  This is such a solid Wave.  I am really excited about all 4 of these.

Also, KarlSpace.  I would say just like canprime said, the Vintage Masterverse Skeletor and Zodac will almost certainly just be timed Wal-Mart exclusives, that are made available at places like BBTS and Entertainment Earth later on.

I think every Wal-Mart figure for both Origins and Masterverse this year that was started out as an exclusive with Wal-Mart, was just timed so Wal-Mart could offer it first, then ended up sold at other retailers.

I picked up a clearance Fisto from Target to use parts from the new Fisto to make a New Eternia standard Fisto without the arm armor. He's Fisto, not Armo! Still, I'm sure I'll love Armo. New Eternia hasn't missed with a redesign, as far as I'm concerned. But I still want one that's less glammed up.

I feel the same way about Toy Shiz, his voice is annoying. i think he swears he has a radio DJ voice.
