Looks like the new Wave is about to ship soon from BBTs.  I got processing soon notices for figures in the Wave.

The Wave with Thunder Punch He-Man, Leech, Sy Klone, and Revolutions Hordak

Wow. That was fast.  BBTS has shipped the new Wave of Masterverse.  This is a really nice-looking Wave, but I think I'm most excited about Sy-Klone.  He looks like a nice mix of classic and New Eternia updated.  the figure looks really colorful and fun.

But the entire Wave looks great.

I just hit ship on a bunch of MOTU stuff from BBTS - I skipped Leech and Hordak (probably will regret it and change my mind later) but I gotta say, Sy Klone, from the promo shots, might be one of my favorites for this line. They did SUCH an inspired job redesigning him. I probably could've lived without Thunder Punch He-Man but I loved that figure as a kid. (Am I crazy or does he really come with caps?)

I know they've got a lot of ground to cover -  but I would love it if they worked a few of the newer snake men into the Masterverse line like they have with Origins.   Those are super fun.

I really love when they stray into making figures that weren't part of the original line up.    I know not to hope for more Rulers of the Sun -  not with Sun Man still available at discount everywhere -  but doing some of these newer Snake Men might sell better.

I don't mind them revisiting  and updating the existing library of characters,  but I like it better when they mix in something new as well.

Damn, i just saw the FALL catalog for MOTU figs. it looks awesome.

Im digging the masterverse Merman with the gradient paint on his forearms AND the origins Merman super/blue figure. i like that he comes with a fish tail, too bad they dont do that with Masterverse as well. the throne skeletor is superb, i noticed his face design is more 'realistic' thats gonna be a must have for me.

About the 40th 2-pack, ive been eyeing that pack but i just dont like skeletor's face design for some reason, thats why i havent pulled the trigger. The metal weapons and the flocked boots are a draw for me though, I like flocked stuff. I do have the single carded 40th He-man so maybe thats why i haved bought the 2 pack as well.

Almost forgot, also wanna get that masterverse Hordak, must have for me.

I got the new Wave today, and it is another fantastic set.  But Sy-Klone!  New Eternia Sy-Klone, like New Eternia Webstor and Faker, is instantly the winner of this Wave, and one of, if not the best version of this character ever.

The New Eternia line is just kicking so much ass.  I think Pixel Dan even let out a video today stating how great the New Eternia figures are.  And he's right.

Leach and Thunder Punch He-Man are both great figures as well.  I really like the look and newer interpretations of them.

Leach's packaging is awesome, showing Scorpia, Catra in Cat form, and Force Captain Adora.

Great Wave.  I haven't got Hordak yet since he is the Revolution cartoon version.  I may get him, and I may even use him as a Horde Prime stand in.  But I think I might be alright with just the more classic looking Hordak we already got.  But.....To be determined.

I also received Sy-Klone, Leech, and T-Punch He-Man today from BBTS.

I have to agree about Sy-Klone, he is just excellent. Love the change from yellow to gold, well, metallic for the whole figure. The faceplate is just that, removable from the figure’s face, tucking into the helmet. I dig the accessories and like that it’s not a rehash of the Classics update.

Leech is fine. I didn’t think to look for the Easter eggs on his package. I don’t think Masterverse is really meeting the potential for their Horde remakes. They’ve all been just ok, nothing mind blowing like Buzz-Off or Sy-Klone, or Webstor. I do like the sculpt of his hands and feet and head, he just seems small.

He-Man is fine. The cap gimmick is only ok. I thought it would have more to it. Put one in his backpack around the cog, and turn it from the outside with a knob. There’s a window to see it turning, but it’s too low to see. The cog makes the same clicking noise whether the cap is on it or not. The sword/shield combo is cool, the lightning fists are fine, it’s all not very impactful. He ironically does not pack a punch.

I regret not ordering the throne Skeletor yet, keep going back to BBTS and reconsidering.

I got Thunder Punch He-Man and New Eternia Sy-Klone today and honestly... New Eternia just DOES it for me. Every single dang time. It's like they understand the core of the figure's original design, put an elegant, timeless twist on it to make it work better at this scale, and create something magnificent. Every single New Eternia design has been a 110% hit for me. Sy-Klone is bloody gorgeous. I can't get over how they turned a gimmick figure from the 80s into this... wandering sci-fi samurai mythological warrior thing I have in hand right now.

I mean the other parts of Masterverse are superb, too, but I'll just keep unhesitatingly buying New Eternia til they stop making them.

Messing with Sy-Klone and realized - is he the first Masterverse with drop hips? I was wondering why his leg movement wasn't quite as smooth as the rest of the line then noticed the drop hip functionality on him but I can't remember ever seeing it in this line before?

There are several within the last few waves that have drop hips. Adam definitely has them. Battle Armor He-Man. Tri-Klops. Definitely a few more.

Picked up a couple old figures yesterday because Target pulled out a case of Sun Man/BA He-Man/ He-Ro/Jitsu.  I only had Sun-Man, so I bought BA He-Man and He-Ro.  I haven't warmed up to Jitsu even at $13. He needs a re-do.

Noticed a couple of my Targets restocking wave 2. Saw a few Scareglows out in the wild again.
