Oh and I forgot to add Roboto to my list of favourite Masterverse figures to date.
It probably helps that I only paid $5Cdn for him, but he is still a pretty great figure. Bat-Lyn isn't too bad either. Frosta and Stratos are okay but not near my top 5.
@panthercult Two-Bad really is a great figure (figures?). I think they did themselves one better though if the rumour of the Origins version being two figures that can also combine is true. That would put the Origins version, for me, over the Masterverse version.
Possibly... I have at least a sliver of doubt. I assume this will be achieved by including three torsos - one for Tuvar, one for Baddra and one combined torso with two neck pegs, then and extra of each purple and blue arm and leg. The legs and arms and heads can all then be popped off and on to build the various versions - similar to Modulok - and that does sound pretty awesome.... especially for them since people like me would buy two sets so I could have all three figures and not have to do any pop-and-swap mechanics. I do wonder though, for those folks who actually use the feature to switch back and forth how well those legs hold up after multiple swaps on and off. Will those sockets in the swapped thighs get looser over time popping on and off over and over again? Maybe not, but I'd be at least a little concerned.
I finally got around to opening Snout Spout and add him to my all-time favorites of the Masterverse line list. I LOVE this figure. The colors pop so much, and I love how much bigger he is than the other figures.
I have always loved every figure of Snout Spout, and this one did not disappoint.
Anyone else looking forward to Snake Goddess Teela and Emperor Hordak?
I will definitely get Snake Goddess Teela to use as Green Goddess. And I may get the Hordak. I really like the previous, more vintage looking deluxe Hordak that was released first in Masterverse. But I may get this Revolution version and use as a Horde Prime or something.
Anyone else looking forward to Snake Goddess Teela and Emperor Hordak?
Snake Goddess Teela looks good, but not much of a deviation from previous iterations.
Emperor Hordak looks really good though. I like almost all of the look, about the only thing I am not too keen on is his head. I understand the look, but I kind of prefer the more classic skull-esque look. He is one I would keep an eye out for as I have the deluxe version from earlier in the line.
Snake Goddess Teela looks sharp. Hordak looks like Garbage with a capital G. The head looks tiny - the costume/armor design makes him look vaguely traffic cone shaped. Not a fan of that. But give me that Goddess - love that look.
The first Hordak design is a lot more fun for an action figure. Maybe they'll make both. Personally, if i see a figure with these long rubber robe slats blocking the legs, I'm out. Love those boots, tho.
Snout Spout showed up today and man, he's MAGNIFICENT. I love how they just go all in on the ridiculousness of MOTU designs. New Eternia really is my favorite thing they've got running in Masterverse. I really need to get around to setting up a proper display for them.
And of course this opens up my eternal Eternian debate: what DOES Snout Spout's head look like under the cybernetic exterior? MOTU is such low-key awesome body horror, I love it.
So has anyone else received their New Eternia Mekaneck? I received mine from Amazon and when I opened him he didn't have the bracer piece on his right arm for the shield, he had another gauntlet instead. Makes for a more classic look, but I'm curious if I lucked out or if others have experienced the same.
So, it looks like they revealed the Horde Trooper for this line today and it is a chonky boy, so I guess I understand why they made it deluxe. Still curious now to see if it is going to be a Mattel Creations Exclusive or not. If it's deluxe and Online exclusive that's going to be even pricier than this Snout Spout was and I'm going to want multiples. Sigh and sigh again.
Pics?
And making army builders exclusive & high-priced defeats the entire purpose of army building...
Thanks, Vicious!
