Not sure if there was a dedicated thread for Power Rangers, could have been on the previous forums or it could have been further back, but this thread will do!
Just got Wave 3 finally and thank the STARS Zedd is not as huge compared to the regular rangers as he initially appeared in their teases. He's certainly bigger and still out of canonical scale, but from the initial stream comparisons it made it seem he was way too buff and 3 inches too tall. The only thing I will say is that his throne is slightly under scale and he fits abit too snuggly. Not to promote "man-spreading" but he could have been afford an extra half an inch each side of the seat.
The rest of the wave is as expected, some paint apps are slightly messy, but they have been making vast improvements in terms of loosening the once very stiff joints and casting the likes of Billy's head in a plastic, which to me works better than how they previously had them painted as that came across very thick and cartoonish. (Yet they still painted Zack and Adam's heads in that thick goopy paint 😓)
As this line really fills out and we're getting the key characters it does sadden me the likes of Madame Woe didn't make the cut.
@madmaxx yeah, they’re coming out. Per their status page, they’re done and on the water: https://super7.com/pages/pre-order-status-page
Thanks for the info! I did grab Wave 1 after seeing this, and I'm really happy with how they turned out: both are much bigger than I anticipated, but I really don't mind as long as all these figures scale well with each other. Even more excited for Patrick and Squidward now 🙂
@nightwolf That last gasp of Rankin and Bass figures in the late 90s and early aughts did a nice little 6" Frosty. Not that articulated of course but not sure you really need that with Frosty. He looks good on my Rankin and Bass Memory Lane shelf. Really wish there had been more Rankin & Bass toys but new ones always welcome.

Perfection.
A small gripe I have is how most Frosty the Snowman merch is based on Frosty's Winter Wonderland and not the original cartoon. What's a snowman need a scarf for? Maybe the licensor doesn't approve of a mostly nude Frosty.
@misfit I vaguely recall there was a reason given for it being only the sequel characters at the time of the toy release, that they didn't have rights to the original Frosty for some reason, possibly because the original show as based on licensing of the song? Or that a scarf-less Frosty was not trademark-able unless you had his specific color/print scarf as otherwise he is just a snowman? This is back in the recesses of my brain so I may be off here...
@fac my assumption has been related to the scarf differentiating the character from a more generic snowman. Naked Frosty merch is out there, it's just in far smaller numbers from the scarfed look.
Is the scarf removable?
Anyone else buying up these Godzilla ReAction figures like candy?
I have even been tempted by the blind box versions that have been showing up at Target.
Pretty standard as far as Super7 product goes, but I cannot help but really like them.
Anyone picked up any of the Nightmare Before Christmas Ultimates yet? Haven't seen any reviews anywhere yet. Oogie hit my Pile of Loot, and while I'll definitely keep him (a well articulated Oogie Boogie is something I didn't think we'd ever get), I'm still torn on Jack and Sally. It would be nice to have a Jack and Sally that can finally stand with only a small stand, something I could never either NECA or DST to do. Not sure how I feel about the cloth clothes, though.
Never picked up a Super7 Ultimate before, so I don't know what to expect, but I'm cautiously optimistic.
Man.... I was checking Entertainment Earth because they have a few Ultimates on clearance - and I saw they have the Czarface Ultimates in stock. I've been waiting on my pre-order for that from BBTS for ever - it was originally due last summer - but it still shows as a pre-order over on the BBTS site. I want that figure in hand, man - and was grumpy that Super7 was soliciting a repaint of the figure now before they had delivered the long overdue original. But it looks like maybe the figure is out and BBTS just doesn't have theirs yet. Sigh.
I am a sucker though - that repaint looks pretty good and is tempting me. I want to get the first one in hand before I commit though.
@panthercult I got my Czarface from Super 7 back in early February in the same box with my Slayer Minotaur figures. He's been out for a bit, and he's really nice in hand. Im not convinced on the variant yet, but It does look pretty cool too.
I wonder why BBTS never got their alotment of those? Curious.
