I love these pics!! so much fun! thanks for posting these!!
This was unexpected but awesome news! https://toynewsi.com/312-55832
Just got a preorder email from BBTS. Preordered instantly! As cool as this one is, it makes me wish it were 6 inch scale. No doubt we get a soft good version in that scale, but for 6 inches, having everything sculpted is my preference. I already have the Exo-6 Pike to fulfill the cloth clothing.

I get the feeling Nacelle will probably get a license to do NuTrek too. Just like no doubt Hiya will also do Legacy Trek in 1:18th. It’s getting to be a good time for us fans again!
Pike's likeness is great but the tunic is HUGE! Looks like three sizes too large and all of their clothes are so tight-fitting.

that's the same issue I have with the 2009 movie figures
something is off with that
I had not really noticed that about the rubbery tunics but now I see it too. I kinda wish Hiya would have just done hard plastic with the abcrunch like they did on Judge Dredd now!
The shirts on the 2009 figs definitely do skew a little large/loose, but it doesn't bother me that much. They're a soft enough plastic to provide plenty of range, but nowhere near the silicone mess that was the original figures. I'm totally cool with it this way, perhaps sacrificing a little bit of screen accuracy for a little more movement and less chance for breakage. I think a solid plastic shirt would've restricted movement a bit, and the cut joint would undoubtedly have broken up the look of the shirt, which would also look unnatural. I quite like the invisible articulation here. Getting the belt on does help break up the silhouette and press the plastic down a tiny bit, which helps the overall look (in my opinion, at least).
@joshsquash729 I’m not turned off at all by these figures even if the shirt is a little large. These are light years ahead of anything Playmates did with Star Trek 2009. I’m overjoyed to see SNW is coming! I can’t wait to see what else is on the way. I hope we get a Gorn in space suit! I also want lots of Borg and Klingons!
I just received my Hiya Kirk, Spock, and McCoy today. I haven't had a chance to open them, but just from looking at them the paint apps look great. The portraits look better in hand than any of the photos or videos I've seen so far.
@dchimpy That’s been my impression of these as well. The people choosing not to get these based on what’s been shown on YouTube are going to be disappointed if they can’t get them later. I have no regrets for buying these and I bought extras because I want to have these on display and some to play!
Already buying extras before they even suggest Uhura is coming?
I hope we all don't get burned.

Hopefully not. I do get a better feeling from Hiya and Nacelle though.
God******. I was on the fence about the Hiya’s but now I gotta commit with SNW. I would LOVE for someone to give an in depth explanation on how toy licenses work ie Brian/Nacelle says they don’t have the rights post Enterprise..so I assumed because Playmates still camping on it…but then Hiya comes out of left field…I know EXO-6 has NuTrek rights…is it based on scale? At the end of the day though…we’re not seeing these figures for a full year(as long as all goes smoothly)…forced me onto EBay to scratch the itch. Gotten a pretty decent Art Asylum/DST collection going but my god the price on some of these…right now I’m onto Wrath of Kahn DST..but damned spending $50+ on an action figure! Anyhow, rant over….I’m curious though..why isn’t Hiya promoting SNW Pike on any of their social media?
