The only positive I can foresee is a potential Enterprise movie, and no series deserves a proper send off like Enterprise. Though I don't think the Enterprise cast can hold up a feature film, sadly.

If they're actually getting Hemsworth back as George Kirk, I'm interested. Otherwise I hope most of Paramount's big screen movie efforts go towards the Star Trek 4 that's still supposedly in some level of production.

I bought the whole Playmates TNG crew off of eBay to satisfy my Trek urge. It'll hold me until something better comes along. 😀

The new EXO-6 preorder on BBTS is TNG Geordi LaForge. Gotta admit, that is a really good face imo. If I had bought Data, I'd probably go in on it.

Has there been any word at all regarding the second wave of Playmates Star Trek Universe 5" figures?  Other than those clandestine pics leaked a million years ago.

Curious as well

Hiya is really dragging out the Uhura reveal for their 2009 Trek line.  Grrrrr.

@kassle Scotty too! I saw a gray sculpt of the Scotty figure in pictures I think from New York Comic Con or maybe something earlier than that. They’ve been dropping a lot of reveals from GI Joe, Walking Dead and Godzilla. I sure hope they will get back to showing more for Star Trek soon. I sure hope they will have something to show for other parts of the Star Trek franchise sometime soon too. Isn’t that Star Trek First Contact Day coming up soon?

Sure wish someone made a Classic bridge background or series of stations.

@mr_articulate I have seen pictures of the Playmobil Classic Enterprise with the 3 3/4” 2009 Playmates Star Trek figures seated at the bridge stations. They scaled nicely. Maybe Hiya Toys will do TOS figures as well. Also hopefully Playmobil will also do the Enterprise D, DS9, Voyager, etc.

@bgiles73 Try being a collector of their 2000AD line. They haven't announced anything new since June/July last year, and that's a 60% reuse of existing figures plus some heads on a display piece for the Dark Judges and Anderson or the Cursed Earth Dredd with an extra cape.

There's a good series of 3DPrint options on Etsy.

All that's missing now is Uhura. I sure hope that Hiya isn't a "girls don't sell" kinda company.

May be an image of 1 person, toy and text

Scotty is up for pre-order now at the usual places. BBTS has him arriving March... 2025. I hadn't been paying attention to the release dates on these. It's gonna be a long wait until the completed crew is on a shelf together.

Ignoring aliens and cyborgs; I think Hiya's *released* figures are evenly split between men and women.  There were 2 lady Colonial Marines to 1 dude, and 2 lady Judges to 3 male.  Mean Machine is more machine than man and the RoboCops don't count since they don't have dicks no more.

*** Wait, I forgot the InJustice line.  Definitely more dudes there than chicks; so maybe 2-to-1 male to female overall as a company.

It may just be a likeness thing, too. I may be misremembering, but I want to say I've heard in the past that Zoe Saldana is a little picky when it comes to her likeness. I don't know if likeness rights were already baked into the license when they got it or if they're all separate. Or maybe, since Uhura would be the most obvious candidate for new parts, they just want to get the mileage they can out of the basic male body, since, for the most part, all the characters except Old Spock and Nero use more or less the same body, no? I don't see them not making Uhura, but there's obviously something that's keeping them from releasing her sooner.
