Well the dock strike shouldn’t impact most toys since they generally all come in via the west coast… unless that you manufacturer is a small company based out east and was having their cargo brought in through New Jersey. 

They send out an update that most of the Roboskulls are on the ocean heading for the east coast and that with the strike, they’ll basically just be sitting there until it’s over. They may have some small numbers that haven’t shipped yet sent to the west coast and then trucked across the country, but that isn’t certain yet.  

@boy_wonder Yeah, it's a bummer, makes it less likely I get my spooky Tie-Fighter before Halloween, but I'll live. It sucks that strikes have to happen but if the workers gotta do it I'm ok to wait. Just hope negotiations happen fast.

Has there been any update on when the 1/12 figures might go into production?  It's nice to see the vehicles are shipping - but it's really the figures I want, man.

Fair enough...  I'll plan on post Chinese New Year and expect these more like April-ish.    I believe currently I'm in for one 6" Marauder Skeletron,  2 6" Marauder Wolf Troopers and one 6" Gyre Wolf  -  I wasn't feeling the Jungle Wolf for whatever reason...   I've been really tempted to order another Wolf Trooper and the Pilot Kit, but have  resisted so far.     

I'm hoping there will be opportunity to go back and order more once I have them in hand if I fall head over heels with them.

I will be curious to see - when all of this is done what they decide to do next.

Seems like the dude on the bottom right is definitely ripe to be made and kind of would fit their vibe maybe?    Lean in on another version of the Skeletron figures with white head and limbs to match that top right character look?   

Or, you know - veer hard left and do something else entirely.

@panthercult So far I'm just in for the 6" Wolf and Skeletron, though having seen the 4" Gyre Wolf I might want the upscaled version of that because that silver paint job is pretty slick. I might go for the pilot pack too but that feels like something I'd only do if I was also picking up more Wolf Troopers. Like you I'm not really interested in the jungle version. I think mainly it feels a bit too "normal military" and what I like about these is the sort of off-brand Star Wars/scifi space pirate vibe.

Far as I recall though the new Skeletron is the same color style as the old ones you point out, the white limbs and head but with the red torso. Least all the preview renders had that color scheme as I recall. Unless I'm misunderstanding what you mean there.

Oh... I was under the impression the Skeletron limbs and head were silver, not white.   So, that's what I was alluding to -  was for a future release to go more of a flat white direction to look even more like the old Red Shadows toy and less like an actual modern robot...    But that might have been a poor assumption on my part based on the drawings.

In looking at the actual photos of the 4" product the figures definitely look to be sporting white skulls, not silver.   But when I look at the drawings for the 6" figures they still say metallic/silver to my eye...  :shrug

@panthercult Yeah, pretty sure it's going to be white. if you compare the Skeletron renders to the Gyre Wolf renders they're noticeably more white and we know Gyre in 4" scale had the silver color.

4” Jungle Troopers have arrived and will start shipping out this week. Hopefully the actual Roboskulls aren’t far behind. 

@boy_wonder Yay! According to the Kickstarter update the Roboskulls are supposed to start shipping early Nov. Looks like the 6" did get pushed as I expected. They say those should be going out before Chinese New Year, but I know how Chinese New Year goes with production schedules so I'm still expecting those Spring.

Got the shipping notice for my Jungle Wolfie.

Personally I’d like to see a 6” of the “Gorn” 

So,  I think the assumption was that Fresh Monkey Fiction might get to that in their Operation: Monster Force/Crimson Moon line -  since they did release it as part of their 1:18 Eagle Force line

But it sounds like they got a "Cut It Out" notice from Hasbro that may make that less likely.  There is talk about a Creature from the Black Lagoon type figure coming in the Monster Force line in an upcoming wave - but it remains to be seen if it will have parts that can be swapped onto a a red Crimson Moon outfit to customize into that figure.

I'm not sure the Skeletron people will go there since Eagle Force already did it in 1:18 and Hasbro seems to be keeping an eye on things more closely now.

Now that the Skulls are about to start shipping, if any of you 6" guys want to sell me the included 4" pilot figure I'm right here waiting.
