BBTS has the Popeye and Bluto from the first wave on sale today for $21 and $17.50, with Castor Oil also partly discounted at $27. So decided to get those plus Olive Oil (regular price), and once they arrive decide on Wave 2 and 3.

Boss Fight Studio posted some photos of early samples of their wave 3 figures.

Also, Mezco is reissuing their one 12th Popeye figures. It on pre-order at bbts.com now, probably other shops, too.

Bumping this thread to ask if there has been any news on a Wave 4?

As noted by others, Alice and Geezil seem like they would be perfect for a wave 4, and honestly would probably be the last two characters I would pick up and really make this just about a perfect collection (to me). I really liked Wave 1, picked up the new characters in Wave 2 and pre-ordered the new characters in wave 3 including two Goons. Not getting sucked into variants.Β

I haven't seen anything about a 4th wave of figures. I'm guessing they would be announced closer to when wave 3 is supposed to ship in early 2025, if a wave 4 is even planned. Fingers crossed it happens!

@fac, I agree completely about considering this line complete if they make Alice and Geezil, though I would still probably pick up any new characters they make. I wouldn’t mind Olive's parents or Popeye's grandma. I'm usually not interested in variants either, but they got me with the first look Popeye. That will probably be the only variant I buy.

Boss Fight posted pics of their packaged wave 3 figures. I think they look great! Hopefully, this means they'll be shipping soon. I'm so excited to add these to my collection. Now all we need is Geezil and Alice in wave 4 for me to be completely satisfied with this line, though I would probably buy any new characters they make.

The BFS 3rd wave of Popeye Classics figures are out now, and I think this is the strongest wave so far. I bought Rough House, Toar, the Goon, and first appearance Popeye in white. I didn't have any QC issues with my fingers. All their joint feel smooth and sturdy. Goon and Toar are big and have a lot of weight to them. I've found the Goon to be surprisingly fun to pose and play around with. Given how well this wave is, I'm really hoping they have plans for a 4th wave. I'd love to add Geezil and Alice.

What do other folks think of this wave?
