Red Shadow was never a thing for me so I've no nostalgia drawing me to this line (and Monster Force already has me covered pretty well for my wolfman soldier needs).  However, that Major Noir headsculpt is absolutely precious, so I might get him just for that and the unique closed mouth wolfman head.

I kind of like the Lord Binface bucket helmet too, but it's not worth an entire figure of zombie wolf pieces I'd never use just to get it.

@boy_wonder I doubled my order of Red Shadows troopers when I saw how far away the dates were for these. I can figure out how to get another $300 in that time frame.

I'll probably go about lighter on Monster Force Season 3 though. Need to figure out what to do with the sleepwalkers from series 1 now that it looks like we'll have a pretty fleshed out Red SHadows team without them.

I don't care for most of the zombie figures, so not sure how build out an army for Caligari and the Forgotten King without too much crossover. 

I'm not gonna cancel any orders though because I want to support FMF and nothing guaranteed till they get in hand.

So "Black Major" has the proper head for "Baron Ironblood" and the zombie wolf trooper has his helmet. Does the head that comes with the Baron represent someone in particular? It doesn't look like the original Black Major head even though he does have the right hat.

I'm only vaguely familiar with the Red Shadows folks, can anybody more in the know give me a breakdown on who in Monster Force=Action Force=Gi Joe? 

OK... so I only committed for Count Iron Moon and Wolfsbane from this wave.    I have to admit I kind of don't care at all about the monster/supernatural angle of these figures and just appreciate the human military adjacent stuff. 

I may end up picking up one of the Crimson Moon Troopers - but I would only display it with the helmet and gloves on.   I could maybe use the Werewolf head for a custom.

I skipped on most of the Apophis Legion stuff because most of the troops were zombies and I don't care about that.   But the General?   Coming with a Joe Colton head and a Thaddeus Ross head?   I ordered multiples.

I do hope they get enough orders to offer the "totally NOT" Cobra Commander  Order of the Crimson Moon.   I will order that.    He comes with three different hooded portraits,  just in case Hasbro never comes around to wanting to do the hooded Cobra Commander officially.

Fingers crossed that they get enough orders to move forward on all of these.

Major Noir comes with the head for Baron Ironblood that goes under the helmet

Count Ironmoon comes with the head for Black Major and you can put the hat from Major Noir on it

Ok so there's some part swapping required but basically

Count Ironmoon = Baron Ironblood who is the leader of the Red Shadows. You will need the helmet from the zombie to complete the look

Major Noir = Black Major, the second in command of the Red Shadows

Wolfesbane = Red Jackal who was Destro in the original line

Crimson Moon Trooper = Red Shadows Trooper/Red Vulture

Exterminator = Red Laser who was the reuse of the cobra commander mold in Action

Everything else is new and original

Then there’s also the Skeletron (the modern toy brand) figures of Skeletron (the vintage and modern figure) and Dire Wolf (Red Wolf in the vintage Action Force line) to go with their version of the Roboskull, the Red Shadows original vehicle

Which would just leave the Muton and the Kraken. The 4” line has Goregills, which is their homage to the Kraken. I got a kind of wink-wink-nudge-nudge from the team at Power Con that a 6” Goregills is already in the works.

OK... this updated information was helpful to me and is going to force me to order more figures than I intended to so I can do the head swaps outlined... sigh.    I had already ordered the Red Shadows figures from the RoboSkull,  so gotta go all the way in, I spose

It is pretty cynical though to pack the helmet I need for Baron Iron Blood in with the damn zombie figure - the one thing I absolutely do not want or need from this alotment.

I guess good news for anyone that wants a zombie werewolf soldier but doesn't care about the Red Shadows homage -   I'll have one to let go of on the cheap
