@doc-baghead to each their own, but I need a Gnash, Katana, Fu-Dong and TimeDancer Brooklyn at least.

Agreed. Shari/Shahrizad would be fun, too.

Unfortunately we can't scroll, but here's where Blaine answered those questions:

That’s good news.

After CS and MB I think Owen and I’m good. If they make more amazing looking figs I’ll look but I may have the representation I want.

Thwipp!

I was thinking Stagheart would be a worthwhile inclusion.

The Weird Sisters would be super easy to make as a three pack too.

Glad to hear Coldstone, Macbeth and Gabriel are still happening.

Twitter user @The_Top_Loader shared a short video of the animated deco Goliath that came with the Limited Run Games thing. It makes me want to see a dedicated animated subline of these figures with new sculpts. The animated decos NECA does just pops really well on a shelf.

They'll sell one body with all three heads, make it a Walmart exclusive, and only pack them one per case (and of course, only 1/4 of Walmarts will get any)...

The Vows two-pack and Detective Broadway are now up for pre-order on BBTS.

Hopefully we'll be seeing Coldstone and Macbeth soon.

Man.... that vows pack makes me grumpy because I wish I had just waited and not bought stupid first release Goliath and Demona with the giant display destroying wings so I could buy these display friendly caped wing versions.    But I'll be damned if I spend another $70 to get the same figures I already have with the new better wings.    They could probably sell me a two pack of just the caped wings for $20 though.

I guess we’ll know in seven days what the fate of the line is…

I watched the Q&A posted a little higher up and it’s… not as hopeful as reported in this thread

We weren’t told “news on Macbeth and Coldstone at Comic Con” Blaine said “Maybe Comic Con?” when asked when we might get an update.

His answers sounded just as cagey and uncertain as they did at Toy Fair.

Macbeth is my most wanted figure in the line, and Coldstone is my wife’s most wanted. Gonna be super bummed if they don’t make it out.

so hopefully we’re back to the good ol’ days and Comic Con rolls around and etailers drop like 40 NECA pre-orders and Macbeth and Coldstone are among them, hopefully we see prototypes for the Pack or Puck or more characters to prove the line really is “best selling with no signs of stopping” other than three timed exclusive variants no one seems super jazzed about making up the entire first half of this year’s products.

I guess in the end, I’m just worried, I want to believe Macbeth and Coldstone will be out by the year’s end, but I look over and see A-Train, Julius, Cocoa Bandicoot and Neo Cortex, Vegetables Gremlin and think “damn… it’s gonna happen again, isn’t it”

I just want a set of cape wings for Hudson. I don't care how, even if it's another version of him with them.

I've seen the vow set a few times at 2 Targets, and I like the extra accessories, I already have both characters and cape wings for both, so I'm not spending that money on the accessories and a few extra face plates.

I’m gonna be quite disappointed if SDCC doesn’t announce new product coming in September/October.

So no Gargoyles at Comic Con…

I know it was only preview night and they can still put stuff in the case between now and Saturday…

but they usually do that with new reveals not stuff we’ve already seen.

It’s not looking good for Coldstone and Macbeth and I’m a little defeated right now…

Ugh, I accidently deleted my last post.

Anyway, Djordje Djokovic just posted this on Instagram

Unfortunately, he says he doesn't know if or when it's coming out

And Doc, as much as I want to disagree with you, I can't. I tend to be a glass is half full kinda guy, but the lack of a presence at SDCC is a bad look. Maybe we'll see something later, maybe at Toy Fair or NYCC, but... yeah. I was filled with hope last year at Toy Fair because that Clock Tower display just felt very much like a statement... like a power move.

This was the first NECA line I really followed the production of, as such I was unfamiliar with the personalities and maybe didn't recognize the dancing around the subject that others did.

Am I disappointed? Yes. I've wanted this line for over twenty years. But at the same time, I can't be too disappointed. We received the entire Manhattan Clan: Goliath, Elisa Maza, Hudson, Brooklyn, Broadway, Angela, Lexington, and Bronx... that's the core cast of the first two seasons. We received the lead villains: Demona and David Xanatos... hell we got two Xanatos figures when they could have easily just given us one. We even received a badass army builder in the Steel Clan. And Thailog, too... though I wish it was the armored version, he was always a great villain and maybe the Manhattan Clan's #3 Big Bad.

We received the Grimorum Arcanorum, the Eye of Odin, and the Phoenix Gate as accessories, all three... and for the series, those are iconic relics.

Why am I not too disappointed? Because it could have stopped any time in the middle of that. I am still bitter that SH Figuarts was one figure away from the complete Lupin III line up and then never gave us Goemon. Their Cowbow Bebop line never gave us anything after Spike and Vicious... I am still annoyed that we never got that Faye Valentine. Considering he was the last unique sculpt, we could easily be having a conversation about Lexington not being released

Now, were mistakes made on this line? Yes. One, big mistake. I think the sculpts, paint, and accessories were brilliant. They were very well made figures that captured the characters well. But those wings were a deal breaker for way too many people. While I don't think they made them impossible to display, I managed a display I really am satisfied with, at the same time... so many people were vocal about this, NECA should have listened and course corrected much earlier.

Overall, I'm happy with what we got. Maybe Coldstone and Macbeth will see the light of day; I doubt Gabriel will. But if they don't, well it is what it is. I am disappointed, but not unhappy.

Gargoyles is my favorite show of all time. As an action figure collector, I wanted great figures of these characters and NECA gave them to me. Not perfect, but great. But toy companies should also take this as a lesson to take the feedback they're receiving seriously, because those initial figures arrived to great fanfare.

It's the FIRST DAY of a 4 day convention, they can still add more to the cases between now and Saturday.

If we end the day on Sunday and nothing else has been shown, then we might need to worry a little, but they could still show stuff off at NYCC (the whole Gargoyles connection and all).
