With Elkhorn starting to hit (c'mon BBTS, get my order in!), what's next for this line?  Yeah, the LJN color versions have just been solicited.  But I'm curious who the next character(s) is for the line?

@ashtalon I've been pretty dissatisfied with BBTS and EE, and started ordering from smaller places. Chubzzy Wubzzy is really good and ships super fast.

I don't mind waiting on BBTS or even an in-store Target find.   Chubby is higher priced and also has a shipping fee on top of it.  I'll wait.  No hurry.  I was just waiting on Elkhorn and/or SF2 Ken to arrive before shipping my Pile of Loot.  The Pile of Loot feature is a big draw for me to keep with BBTS.  But thanks for the heads up on Chubby.

I'm excited for any new release, but I kinda hope Ringlerun and Kelek are next.

@jonaskane I got impatient and made a Kelek from the Mythic Legions Arrazak figure. I gave him slightly longer legs and he looks perfect next to Warduke. I still hope they make Kelek soon though...never can have enough sorcerer types.

I'd love if NECA opened the aperture on the D&D stuff and created some Baldurs Gate 3 figures to go with these, particularly Gale and Shadowheart.

I can see Kelek and Melf or Mercion as being the next two.  Always loved Bowmarc as well.  It'll be interesting to see how the larger characters are handled, as Grimsword was a normal sized figure who they ended up making rather large.   Wonder if the larger characters will be at a higher pricepoint.

@misterskeezler NECA may only be able to make the LJN characters.  Guess we'll see in time.  I'm going to guess that after the animated, movie, and monsters not being huge hits, Hasbro may steer clear of making figures themselves and will just license out the brand to other companies.

@ashtalon yeah I think that's where they're heading.

The Hasbro stuff is pretty decent, but the paint was so lacking that it completely hid the sculpt. I repainted the Beholder figure a while back and I love it. I also just repainted the Displacer Beast and I have to say, the sculpt was really good but you wouldn't know it with the shiny unpainted plastic. I didn't collect the human characters because I collect 1:10 scale. The monsters work great, but the people look too small.

Chubzzy Wubzzy are in my state. They're good people. Great selection, but prices are a bit steep. By the time I make it out to their storefront, I've usually found most of what I've been looking for already. They're good for mostly recent releases from just about every current toy line. Even Mythic Legions. They do have a ton of NECA. Super7 (though they feel like they get burnt on those figures, since most other places drop their prices). Just a ton of stuff.

I'm looking forward to Mettaflame and Tiamat personally.

Kelek and Ringlerun should share the body anyways, so they should be higher in release. Melf/Peralay is the character that will probably take the most tooling budget since LJN never got around to make the other elf/half-elf characters from the coloring/illustrated books. I'm guessing they'll do a wave 2 hero as well to go with Grimsword.

I hope they get that license as well. I would love a Charmay/Raven to go with Strongheart/Warduke. Foxfingers and Molliver would look awesome. Aurella would look great since she's basically a female Hank the Ranger right down to the costume.

Nice! While you're waiting for BBTS to ship, Hasbro is clearing out their displacer beasts for less than half price. They're actually really great, but Hasbro didn't do themselves any favors with the paint apps. A couple rounds of dullcote, some drybrushing on the fur, some green on the eyes and bit of gloss on the fleshy bits (mouth, eyes, claws and whatever you call the spiky tentacle openings) can make these things look pretty great, and they scale perfectly with the NECA DnD line...

I've had Warduke and Grimsword sitting in the box for... I mean I preordered them, they've been there forever, but got Steelheart and Zarak this week and opened all four tonight. Such great figures. I gotta see if they line up okay with maybe my Mythic Legions? Cos they need company, but really lovely figures. Could've skipped Grimsword, 20/20 hindsight since I don't have a lot of attachment to him but Steelheart brings some crazy nostalgia vibes from the old 80s figure and the League of Malevolence dudes are fantastic.

With the Hasbro line - I know the paint apps aren't amazing but I love, sincerely love that displacer beast. Been eternally on my desk since I got it.

I really would love to see some BG3 figures. Wondering how the heck the licensing would work out for that - does Hasbro get possessive and make them in their own line, or farm it out? I think I'd like the quality from NECA better but the scale for their homebrew line more.
