Still waiting for a couple of Snowths to go with Mahna Mahna
EE just charged for the first Doozer from Boss Fight, so hopefully incoming soon.
Here are the most recent Muppet custom figures I finished, Dolores and Louis Kazagger. I'm happy with each, but I definitely have a lot ways to improve as I continue learning how to do this. I'm currently working on Ma Bear, which I hope to finish before Christmas.
As I start thinking about which Muppets to make next, there are several thoughts that I have. One, I'm so happy the line is continuing so that I don't feel the need to try to make customs of my favorite remaining Muppets, like Lew, Lips, Beauregard, Pops, and the Newsman. At this point at least, I can hold off because there is still a shot for those characters to get made. Two, I am so happy DST made a Crazy Harry figure because he is a character I really wanted, and I'm not sure how likely it would be for DST to make him in the future of this line. Hopefully, they reissue him for those who missed out.
Third, I don't think it is likely any Sesame Street characters will get made that scale with the DST line, so I should probably work on making customs of some of those classic Muppets too.
Great customs! Two characters we probably won't get to for a LONG time, if at all. And I wish we could do Sesame Street, really.

Thanks! I would love for y'all to make it these level characters. That would mean you would have made at least a dozen or more new Muppet figures, which would be amazing. I completely understand the hesitation to get the license for Sesame Street. As you've pointed out before, it's a tough IP to make collectible figures for given the target audience of the show is toddlers. I'm happy to keep learning how to make customs by making a Bert, Ernie, and Big Bird to enjoy Christmas in the farm house with the Muppet gang.
In Fraggle news, Boss Fight Studio posted samples of their wave 1 figures. What do folks think? I think they look great. I can't wait to get them!
The Fraggle stuff looks good, but there are a few issues that bug me. Gobo's head just isn't right. Way too bird like. Needs to be rounded. Matt's better, but the eyes seem a bit large and the head could be wider. Nothing major that throws the likeness off like Gobo, though.
From what I have seen of Red, she is spot on. Perfect representation, down to the shirt texture.
Fraggles look great, although I personally am going to be skipping out on them. Backstage set is here, looks as expected, still hoping on a Crazy Harry re-release. Can't wait to see the design for the new figure!

I agree with your criticisms of the Gobo and Matt figures. It seems like Gobo's head shape was a little better in the renders than the actual sculpt. But, based on the images we've seen, they are both close enough for me. It's been a long time since I've looked closely at the Fraggles, so they would have to be pretty far off for it to be an issue for me.
Has anyone seen any updates on the Sesame Street ReAction figures? My bbts preorder shows shipping in November, but I haven't seen anything about them recently.
While shopping around for DST figures to customize into Sesame Street characters, I see that both ee and bbts say that many of the Best Of packs will be restocking soon or summer 2024. I'm hoping that's a good sign for the line, that older figures continue to sell out and require additional orders. There are still so many Muppets I want to add to my collection. And fingers crossed for a Crazy Harry reissue for those who missed the original.
There was an answer to a question about more Muppet figures on yesterday's AskDST.

"Graham T: I saw that Uncle Deadly and Pepe went up for pre-order on October 20th. That's great news! How soon can we expect to see the next Muppet figure two-pack after them? I hope y'all are planning many more Muppet figures.
DSTChuck: I think at this time, if sales are strong enough, we would like to do a couple of new 2-packs per year on Muppets – tops might be three."
This sounds like great news to me. Getting 3-6 new Muppet figures a year seems like a great rate, at least to me. Hopefully that is fast enough to keep folks interested in the line. If they actually do average 4 new figures a year, they could get to some really niche Muppets before too long.
My biggest wants are still the Snowths to go with Mahna Mahna. Then Lips to complete Electric Mayhem. I'd LOVE Newsman, Pops, Beauregard, Sweetums. I wouldn't mind a Link Hogthrob and Julius Strangepork, but not necessarily in their Pigs in Space outfits. I'd prefer something more generic, if they ever showed up in anything other than those PIS uniforms.

Your wishlist matches mine, including wanting Link in something other than his PIS costume, except your list is missing the figure I want most...Lew Zealand! I hope DST prioritizes classic Muppets, like the ones on our lists. But, I wonder if they will focus on newer Muppet. I think Zach has said he wants them to do Muppets that Palisades wasn't able to make, like Vets Hospital. I wonder if that also includes Sal and other newer Muppets like Bobo, Chip, and Walter. The Snowths also fit the category of Muppets Palisades never made as figures.
@bills-all-day I knew I was forgetting someone pretty vital. Lew Zealand is also on my wish list. It's essentially just a list of what Palisades mostly made, of characters that showed up in the Muppet Show. Maybe some of the movie characters. Would love Muppet Babies from Muppets Take Manhattan. Maybe Jill, Bill, and Gil too. Bobo and Beth Bear. Yolanda the rat would be nice to pair with Rizzo. Would like Hilda and Mildred from the Muppet Show too. But most of these are pipe dreams.
I'd still love to do Vets hospital, but that is not the next Muppet wave, and probably a long shot. I'd also love a Link, maybe as the desk sergeant from Bear on Patrol, but only because I can't think of any good casual outfits, besides maybe a blazer and collared shirt. But I think he's a little further down the list. Lew, Sweetums, Newsman, Lips, I think those are all definitely contenders for "sooner rather than later."

That's great to see! Those characters are at the top of my wishlist. I'm so excited that we may get those figures 'soon'.
I would totally buy a Link in a blazer and shirt, either the more modern style he's worn more recently or a sweet 70s style outfit.
