Next figure is not at NYCC.
I don't believe Deadly and Pepe come with anything. Two figures for $29.99 is pretty good.
Backstage box set is a cardboard display. Solicited mockup is largely accurate, but I'll see if we have a packaged shot.

I agree $30 for two articulated figures is not bad at all. Are y'all able to increase the price for future figures to include accessories? I think you mentioned that prices are set with the licensor, and y'all add accessories to reach the price. Maybe I'm remembering that wrong. There are several Muppets I hope y'all eventually make that I'd definitely pay more to get with some accessories, like Lew and his boomerang fish, Lips and his trumpet, and Beau and his broom.
Licensor does not set our prices, we just aim for affordability. We try to include the accessories that make sense, and all the accessories you listed are key components of the characters. But no accessories really jump to mind when I think of Uncle Deadly and Pepe. If you're thinking of Deadly's monster era, he could come with a candelabra, but I think Rowlf comes with one. If you're thinking of his fashionista era, Deadly could come with a mirror, but Piggy has one. Pepe, I'm not even sure he can hold anything, but maybe a comb?
@msword thanks for answering my question and clarifying my confusion. It's great to hear key accessories will be included with future figures. It's also great that someone so knowledgeable about the Muppets is part of the decision making team for the line. I agree, there aren't any obvious accessories for Pepe and Deadly. I'm looking forward to ordering them when they go up for pre-order soon!
I see the Sesame Street ReAction figures up at BBTS, and I'm not sure. I have these nice statuettes from Medicom Toy of them and I really like them. Do I need 5POA instead of none? Lol! I only want a few characters anyway, Ernie, Bert, Oscar, Big Bird, Cookie, Count, and Grover.
Here are Uncle Deadly and Pepe. Not sure about scale from these pics.

@normdapito Pepe is way too big. He'll probably scale in with Rizzo.

I hope the sizes in the description are higher than the actual figures. Rizzo is around 3 inches. 4 inches would be a big Pepe.
Edit: I'm also curious about the listed articulation. 17 looks right for Deadly, but it seems like Pepe has more than 12 points. Looking at the photos, each of his 4 arms has 3 points, and it looks like each leg and head (and maybe jaw) are articulated. Maybe some of that articulation will need to be removed for the final product.

There's a pic with a ruler on bbts.
seems like Deadly is 4 1/4" thou? the ruler has like 1/4" in the front of the zero LOL
@bills-all-day We will not be removing articulation that I know of.
And I suppose we could have made him smaller, but that would have meant no hinges, because once a limb is that thin they tend to become fragile around the hinge. It's why Robin was not very articulated.
@msword @nightwolf Thanks! Based on the ruler photo, the sizes look great to me. I understand smaller characters need to be scaled up a little to allow for articulation. It looks like Pepe will be about the same size as Rizzo, which totally works for me.
Pepe is not the draw for me in this set anyway. Happy to take him, but I do think he’s too big. Once I see him next to Kermit or Gonzo, that’ll be the dealbreaker. But it won’t prevent me from getting the set for Uncle Deadly. Both look great, but Deadly is where it’s at.
My backstage set arrived today and it was crushed on 3 sides. That really sucks since I already have the figures and just want it to display boxed. I hope I can get a quick replacement.

I'm not sure why, but Pepe seems to be oddly out of use. He was in the Haunted Mansion special, but before that his most memorable use as a character was the 2015 show. Certainly no where near the main character he was becoming in the early 2000's.
The DST line feels more like a classic character line and Pepe doesn't really fit, in my opinion. It could also be that he's in a less known look. Either way, not complaining as I will be getting this set. I suppose it comes down to the fact that my set up is the back stage set for the DST line and Pepe won't really work there. Lips on the other hand... that would be nice to see.

I'm really curious which Muppets DST is planning next. Will they make some newer characters, like Walter and Bobo, or focus on more classic Muppets? I think Walter is currently a more popular character than the remaining classic characters and a likely candidate for a figure, except for Sweetums.
My guess is Sweetums is next up, since I would say he's the most popular remaining Muppet, and Zach has said a single figure is coming next. After him, I think Lips will be part of the next two-pack given his prominence in the EM show (which I hope is getting a second season). I think Lips will be paired with Walter, but I would personally love if he was with another classic Muppet, like Lew Zealand, Beauregard, or the Newsman. Hopefully this line continues long enough for them to make the Nigel- and Mildred-level Muppets!
