For the record, I would 100% buy Mahna Mahna all over again if he came with the Snowths.

I can't decide if I should make custom Snowths out of the extra two Mahna Mahna figures I have or wait for DST to make them. Even though I think they'd be fairly easy figures for DST to make, since they only require a new head sculpt, the fact that Mahna Mahna was just reissued makes me think they are not high on their priority list. Maybe I'll make the customs to ensure that DST ends up producing them soon.

There's a fairly decent Snowth head STL available for printing. (The body, not so much.)

@jkpopculture that sucks. they probably canceled it because of how long the delay has been.

Yeah, maybe Amazon automatically cancels when the product is delayed 6 months past the scheduled release date? I really hope they will be coming out in the next couple of weeks.

In the last update from DST, Deadly and Pepe were included in the January, February, March releases. Sweetums and Robin were included in the April, May, June releases. I'd be happy to get Deadly and Pepe in January, Sweetums in June, and then (fingers crossed) Lew and Lips in December or January.

What are folks hoping happens in 2025 for the various Muppet lines? Here are my hopes.

DST Muppets: the Deadly and Pepe and Sweetums and Robin sets ship, the Lips and Lew set goes up for pre-order and ships before the end of the year, and one more set go up for pre-order and another is announced (maybe Pigs in Space goes up for pre-order and a Christmas Carol two-pack or Newsman and Beauregard get announced).

NECA Sesame Street: Bert and Ernie ship, Count and Oscar go up for pre-order and ship, 4 more figures go up for pre-order (maybe Cookie, Big Bird, Grover, and Guy Smiley).

BFS Fraggle Rock: wave 2 figures ship and wave 3 gets announced and goes up for pre-order (hopefully including a classic Mokey)

Super7 Sesame Street: with the NECA line, I've stopped collecting the ReAction figures. Maybe they'll announce another couple of waves.

@jkpopculture Shoot, that's tough news. I'm sorry for all the employees impacted by this news. Hopefully, they only experience minimal disruptions as this bankruptcy and purchasing process proceeds. I've never experienced it, but I assume this is a very stressful time for everyone. Good luck to Zach and the rest of the folks at DST and Gentle Giant Studio.

Yeah, this sucks. Sure, I want my toys, but all the people who now have uncertain futures, this is a lot of worry for them. They have themselves and in many cases, family to support, so I hope someone purchases this quickly and they get to keep their jobs.

Yeah. I was thinking about MS Word when I heard this news. Yes I want the Muppet figures but I have got some really good ones already. MS Word has always been a great news provider and helped keep excitement for the Diamond Select brands. I have bought and enjoyed many solid pieces from those creators. I do hope the best for them.

Thwipp!

In the last couple of days, DST has some social media posts that reference the pre-orders that drop on Friday. I hope this is an indication that they are continuing to make new products during the bankruptcy, which I think is the way it works with ch. 11. I'd love for them to keep making figures throughout the whole process, particularly the Lips and Lew Zealand that were supposed to go up for pre-order in February or March. I'm not sure what help I can provide the employees other than buying products, which I will definitely continue doing (maybe at a higher rate).

Seeing some in hand images of NECA Bert and Ernie on social media.  Looks like they may be hitting comic shops right now.
