Which brings up the old question.  Link Hogthrob, which outfit?  Obviously most famous from the Pigs in Space segments, but if we only are going to get one I would want him in plain clothes.  Then again, unlike most other Muppets I don't think he ever wore the same "street clothes" more than once, so any suit would be great.  They could do a Space 3-pack that I could see being a good seller (pretty sure it's the most popular segment from the show), but wonder if DST would take a chance on something like that.  A Swinetrek diorama would be the best.  He's a top want for me.

I definitely prefer getting new characters instead of variants. The only variants I'm really interested in are Muppets Christmas Carol. Although, I would be also buy A Muppet Family Christmas variants, too. I guess I'm a sucker for Christmas. Otherwise, I would love if Diamond Select keeps chugging along making figures of new characters.

Now that they've announced Lew and Lips, there are 4 Muppets I'd be about equally happy if they make next; Beauregard, Pops, the Newsman, and Link Hogthrob (preferably in casual clothing - maybe a 70s style leisure suit). I'd also love for them to make Marvin Suggs, Bobo, and Walter, plus some characters Palisades never produced, like Annie Sue and Sal.

I just don’t need a redo of every Palisades figure that came out. I did that already.

Give me Muppets Take Manhattan figures. Dream sequence Muppet Babies.

The Muppet Babies are great. Link! I just couldn’t think of his name. The Palisades Pigs in Space is a toy grail for me. Whenever I decide to stop buying just everything I’ll pursue that. Still love my Adventure Kermit. I vicariously enjoy the Muppets through YouTube vids.

Thwipp!

I would go for Muppet Babies.

Although they are smaller figurines, the two Muppets Christmas Carol sets that Palisades made are pretty nice and good enough for me for the 6 weeks they emerge from storage.

What are the chances Deadly and Pepe ship this month?

Personally, there are several other characters I want before Muppet Babies figures or even Christmas Carol variants. Though, I would buy them. Maybe Muppet Babies could be small third figures in a box, like Robin was with Piggy and Kermit. I guess I'd prefer that to a random accessory.

I understand not wanting to repeat the Palisades line, but that line was so extensive and there are still Muppets that feel needed for this line to feel complete, like Beauregard, Pops, the Newsman, Link Hogthrob, and Marvin Suggs. I'd be happy if DST only make Pepe and Bobo from Muppets Tonight and instead focus on Muppet Show characters. That would differentiate the line more from Palisades. Would an Annie Sue and Louis Kazagger two-pack sell?

Man, I really don't want to start another line, but those latest pics of Neca's SS are fantastic.  I feel like I can get away with MS characters out in the open because of the cool factor whereas I feel like most people who barely accept my figure collecting might question me having SS characters--especially as I'm single again.  😆  Might have to hide them somewhere like a single parent avoiding kids meeting the new beau/belle until the time is right.

It's weird, but I feel like the scale difference of those vs DST makes me feel like I would need to be less choosy w/SS because I can't just sneak them into the mix of the Muppets I already have.

@mr-potatohead if it's in any way helpful... I bought the dark navy blue Billy bookcases with glass doors from Ikea to display my collection. It classes it up 100%. I break up pods of figures with books and other collectibles. But the glass doors seems to say "I'm a self aware serious adult who happens to have a collection of pop culture items" At least in my mind 🤣 I have a couple books on Jim Henson that I'm going to put behind my Muppets collection.

DST posted on FB that they are relocating their inventory, which I assume means Deadly and Pepe won't be shipping anytime in the next few weeks, at least. I'm also assuming their must be some factory issue. Hopefully, there aren't a lot of QC issues when they do finally arrive.

It looks like several of the recent DST Muppet reissues have already sold out on bbts and ee. That seems encouraging that they'll be more figures after Lips and Lew Zealand. My guess is Beauregard and Pops next. I hope the production issues get straightened out, so the new figures start arriving on a more regular and faster schedule.

In a recent YouTube interview, DSTZach said he thought the packaging for Pepe and Deadly was just approved and they should ship in a few months. I wonder what caused such a long delay and how that will impact when Sweetums and Robin will start shipping plus when Lips and Lew Zealand will be shown/go up for pre-order.

Sorry for the delay. It has not affected development of Lips and Lew, I think they are being painted now. Not sure if we will wait for Deadly to ship before we offer them, but probably. I doubt we will wait for Sweetums, but maybe.

@msword Thanks for the update. I'm so eager to get Deadly and Pepe and see Lew and Lips. The Palisades Lew is great, though certainly has dated articulation. I think there is opportunity to improve on the Palisades Lips sculpt and paint.

Hopefully, y'all show Lew and Lips before Sweetums ships so that folks know there's another set coming after Sweetums. It's been cool having another set solicited while waiting for Deadly and Pepe because it gives me more confidence we'll get at least some of the additional Muppets I want.
