Yeah EE finally fulfilled my order from May 4 2023 for the Muppets Best of Series 1

@scottg10 Yeah. I don’t know where these Sesame Street figures will go. Next to my Muppets for sure. But they are on a full shelf with a bunch of classic comics and animation figures. Lots of shifting to do

If I was all in on DST Muppets and had no Palisades and therefore wanted to keep the new Sesame Street figures a bit separate due to scale, the one Palisades figure I would try to find is the Koozebane Kermit, as he is wearing the trenchcoat that is very close to what he would wear on Sesame Street as a reporter, and I think that version would fit in great.

well, Burt, Ernie and Big Bird did appear as “guests” on the original Muppet Show.  So there’s some room for incorporating them.

@detectivehoag Oh that's where they go. Just don't know who on that shelf has to go. Its a shelf dedicated to classic comics, Jim Woodring, Popeye, Barks' Ducks etc. Unfortunately no room on my animation shelf. Rankin/Bass, Wallace/Gromit, etc.

I keep my Palisades Muppets with my cartoon stuff: they're right next to The Simpsons, Futrama, KOTH, Zim, etc. This line was the most exciting SDCC reveal for me though! Getting something that's so directly a continuation of the Palisades Muppets line is just amazing. I'll probably be cherry-picking this line for my favorites: like I'm already sold on Count, Oscar, and Cookie Monster, but I can see getting pulled in on some of the others too (just like I did with the Muppets line 😆) The Palisades line was so damn cool that it actually got me interested in the Muppets, even as an older kid with no other exposure to the show. It's one of those parts of my collection that I truly love, so adding to it all these years later is going to be a lot of fun!

@MSWord do you have any updates on when Deadly and Pepe will be shipping? I hope we will be getting them very soon. Do you think y'all will have prototypes of Lips and Lew Zealand at NYCC? I'm so excited to see what they'll look like. Thanks for any info you can share.

I think the new Sesame Street reaction wave came out great!  I never would have thought there'd ever be a Mr Hooper figure.  Too bad I preordered through EE and probably won't get them for months.

My only gripe would be Mr. Hooper, Super Grover and Big Bird all being the same height.

Deadly and Pepe should arrive any day now. I hope to have Lips and Lew at NYCC. 

At around 30 minutes in this video, DSTZach is asked about Diamond Select making Muppet Christmas Carol figures. His response makes it sound like they're not currently planned. But, like the hosts, I would definitely buy Muppet Christmas Carol figures and think there would likely be lots of interest in them.

Zach also mentions Beauregard and Pops as potential figures after Lew and Lips. I hope there is as much interest in Lew and Lips as I think there is. It seems like a lot of people want to finish the band. Plus, Lew is fairly popular. This week, Lew Zealand is the Muppet being celebrated for the 70 Muppets for the 70th anniversary that Disney is doing on social media. Maybe a good time to show Lew Zealand development art?

Frankly, I think Muppets Christmas Carol figures would do better than a lot of more minor regular characters left to do from the show.  It's a way to keep the main, more popular characters on shelves.  And Christmas stuff always seems to sell well. 

I've never liked the Muppet Christmas Carol, so I'd skip those figures.  A Muppet Family Christmas would be a totally different story.  I'd but anything I could get from that special.

Muppet Treasure Island figures could look cool. They would just be variants. I want new characters before variants. Well I would like a Great Gonzo and Pigs in Space piggy with Doc Porkchop and hunky pig which I can’t think of his name…
