Cool, if they’re doing reissues now with minimal to no changes, I’ll just go sit in the corner and wait for the Ninja Turtles to come back instead of checking EE and BBTS everyday for cancellations!
I didn't notice it earlier, but there are product reviews from the original figure underneath, so it looks like they just used the same page as the original release, too.
I don't hate the rereleases, particularly if a good amount of time has passed.
I was just about to come here and ask if anyone noticed any changes or if it was a straight re-release. I think this is the first time they've done it. I wonder if this is a sign of things to come or if they just found a ton of left over stock from the original release.
Their 'now shipping' section is of old(ish) figures that are mostly 'Buy Now' rather than waitlisted, so I suspect they're in the process of clearing out leftover stock of various figures.

Looks like they changed King Conan to have double jointed elbows. I know everyone is gonna celebrate, but I'm 90% sure he cannot do two handed sword wielding poses now. He was advertised as being able to, they showed off two photos of him doing it. But now, thanks to that lower elbow swivel being gone, he's not gonna be able to, probably.
This wasn't what I preordered. Why did they change it? Probably because people always want double joints, since they asume double joints = better, but it just isn't the case. D amazing didn't show him doing them. And it's not like I can just buy one of the previous ones, they're going for insane prices now. So now I'm stuck with a Conan that cannot pose like I wanted him to, when he was perfectly able to before. This isn't right, Mezco should not change stuff during production if they don't promote it at the beginning. They even have the single elbows version printed on the box! For the price we're paying they should not just change whatever they like. I paid for single jointed elbows that CAN do double handed poses. This just sucks. And it's my first one 12!
And let me be clear. The problem isn't double joints. The problem is the lack of a lower bicep swivel. Above the bicep, if you wanna turn the arm inward across the body the bicep runs into the chest. Try it with pretty much any double jointed figure you have. A swivel below the bicep, like the original Conan body had, allows you to bend the arm inward without the bicep ruining the movement. If people want double jointed elbows, they should be Neca or Savage Crucible style, where they swivel is below the bicep.

He probably wouldn't have been able to do 2 handed sword poses with the other arms either. Mezco is notorious for Photoshopping some of their solicitation images (not taken by d_amazing) to make figures look capable of things they KNOW they won't be able to do on release.
@salemcrow I did notice the phtoshoping in the pictures, it's so strange. But oh well, I needed to vent and I did. Hopefully the double joint still allows some sort of two handed poses. I still want the figure.
@spinc im more bummed about the forearms. This will be my first Mezco, and i guess i assumed that those gauntlets were going to be removeable.

Really excited to see the Blank from Mezco. I can be happy if the Dick Tracy line ends after this one (but I could see myself buying a Brow, too...). Really hope he has an unmasked face as well.
