This crap-ass line of insulting 5poa shit finally offered up something I may need to get despite all the effort I'll need to put in upgrading their lame statues into actual action figures. I'm wondering if any of y'all have any of the cardboard playsets they offer to advise whether all the non-figure stuff is up to snuff.
This Doc Nocturnal set looks cool as a penguin's nutsack and I'm down for the whole vibe. I'm decently-sure I can upgrade him and the Squid Twins onto proper 18th bodies so they can be played with, maybe not for the Frog Butler. But the car is sweet, the playset is nice looking for 2D and I can live with it not being a proper playset.

I see Mezco are POing it on their site but I'm assuming my shipping cost will be lower through BBTS bundled up with whatever else will be in my PoL; but they're asking a $12 non-refundable deposit.
Any advice, opinions, or whatnot?
I like the Showa-era Godzilla sets they've put out, but they haven't announced any in a while now so I'm assuming they've already quit. 🙁
