I was looking at getting that Spawn and Todd McFarlane action figure pack, but it seemed to be sold out everywhere I looked so I just kinda gave up.

The reissues sold out too.  I want the Spawn line to continue but doesn't look like it.  If the statues were new from current art....MAYBE.  At this point I just want that KickStarter Spawn to go live. Do a retro wave with Overtkill and classic Violator.  Something.  This is a weak anniversary so far.

@ditko It's crazy to me that he hasn't done a skinny Violator yet. It's my most wanted figure from the line.  Followed closely by the far less likely Gravedigger.

I saw a leak we're getting a 12" Spawn #95 statue. Not sure if its a reissue or a new sculpt like the recent Wings of Redemption.

I just want a nice comic book version of the original Spawn from the Spawn line. Would be nice if they made a new Savage Dragon as well. Pipe Dream is an Arachnid megafigure. Arachnid

The one on the left might become the new standard Spawn for those who aren't fans of the boot.

They look cool. Rat City was a cool comic design and the toy really nails it.  Medieval Spawn is insane.  I don't know where I stand with McFarlane stuff anymore but glad to see this stuff.  Sounds like more stuff is coming.

I don't see why he doesn't do an online only line like the 2 Kickstarters at higher prices of classic characters.  3-4 a year instead of 1 figure every 4-5 years.  It's hard being excited the way he does it but the Kickstarters are wonderful.

That Kickstarter Medieval Spawn looks incredible. I hope it has the new-standard articulation and isn't all janky-because-I'm-an-arteest like the previous KS Spawn.

Medieval Spawn is looking great! I scaled my Spawn stuff back to just Throne Spawn (with a custom cape), the newer Clown figure, and Series 20 Violator...but I might have to grab the blue version. That is just such an impressive sculpt, and the articulation and accessories (assuming we do get all the "tier" extras, which seems like a safe bet) are pretty much all I could ask for! This looks MUCH more well-engineered/designed than the original KS Spawn too. I would personally prefer a wired cape, but that's my only nitpick, and the sculpted one looks cool. I'm excited for this one 🙂

I don't think I can help myself from getting Medieval Spawn.  Man they really went for it and are starting a hype train.  I want those chest plates which are in the "Free Bonus Accessories" section.  As long as that happens I will back it.  2020 was more exciting because it felt like the start of something, but this particular figure is probably more impressive.  I hope he has more plans beyond this.

So really looking over Medieval Spawn - I'm definitely in. I love it. But I don't think it's perfect. I'm definitely worried that the incredibly overdesigned nature of it means it's going to heavily favor flash over function and will be less well-articulated than Todd's current crop of retail figures.

Specifically, the front corner...collar.. thing.. of his cape makes me nervous and I hate it. What a terrible design. Yeah, let's just have the collar of his cape shoved up over the front of his face unless he's specifically looking to his right. It's just.. bad. It's like the previous KS figure being permanently tilted to one side. It's Todd forcing specific poses on what is ostensibly an articulated action figure that I'm supposed to be able to CHOOSE how I want to display it.

Also, and this is just a me thing, I fucking hate the SPAWN BOOT (TM). Hate it. Always have. On every version of Spawn it appears on. It's a terrible design at the most fundamental level. AND, it's not actually part of the original Medieval Spawn design, so I don't understand why it had to be on here. You could have done the asymmetrical legs look without it being, you know, fucking dumb. Medieval Spawn already had asymmetrically-armored legs.

But this is just me whining a bit. Overall, I think it looks great and I'm pretty excited for the KS to go live.

Weird that it's on KS now that Todd has his own version of that up on his site.

Medieval Spawn looks pretty good for the most part. He does seem to suffer the long leg syndrome, same as his DC figs. But if the price is right, I'm still getting it despite it being 7".
