I wonder what the odds are of Target getting new preorders this week during the sale 🤔 

Noticed BBTS put up their Thanksgiving John Carver figures for pre-order. Hoping other retailers will follow suit soon.

They also put up the House of 1000 Corpses re-release figures, and most of their NECA stuff seems to be slightly discounted right now (though in some cases, like the Ultimate Carver, it just brings it down to $38, which is pretty standard).

Target seems to be doing a sale on NECA too, I'd seen the posts from preternia and stuff about it being online, but I guess the prices are valid in store. The electronics guy was putting up tags that said it's through the week.

I saw that as well. I'm kicking myself for ordering the quarter scale Michelangelo last week and not waiting, but it's not like I had any reason to think this was coming. I got one of those NECA gift cards and just ran to spend it as fast as I could to finish off that line.

Lucked out and found Ultimate Creep at Target.  Not so sure why they've been hard to find around here.  Beside the sale price I had $10 in rewards, so only$17 and change for this guy.

That new Usagi Yojimbo box set would be awesome if it wasn't the cartoon line versions.  Why can't I get just get a comic version?  Argh!  Guessing it would be a separate license.

I think they ARE the comic versions, aren't they?  Not only does the ad copy say "fresh from the pages of the comics", but the deco for the "regular" Usagi is definitely more comic-lined compared to the already-released toon version.  Also, the "classic" look figure is straight from the comics, not the toon.

@cmoney Yeah, the looks are right, but they have those heavy lines I (and others) associate with the cartoons.

@mr-potatohead Yeah, but so do other comic lines.

Managed to pick up a loose T2 T-1000 at a comic shop a couple weeks ago. Been looking for him for a while at a decent price, so I couldn't pass up getting him for $20. In my excitement though, I didn't realize he didn't come with his hook arms. Not the biggest deal, since he came with everything else, but I really was hoping to use at least one in the display. Looked for some on ebay, but couldn't find them; does anyone know of a place to get any 3D printed? Or am I better off just getting another T-1000?

NECA is teasing some sales starting next Monday on their webstore and every Monday there after for the rest of January. It includes a graphic of an opening vault so I'm guessing we're going to be seeing some older releases going up for sale.

If I can get the price down a little I'm definitely grabbing the Ben Cooper 5 pack. I want to do a Trick or Treating display.

Those definitely would look cool with Sam from Trick R Treat. The Halloween 3 kids too, but I think those are out of scale with these, and the Toony Terrors versions would look out of place. It's a shame we don't have Ultimate Sanderson Sisters- they'd blend in great with them too.
