Yeah, it's that set. Apparently similar situation to the diorama. A bunch got shipped to the wrong address which left people without a set. They may have had to fast track a production run or maybe they're shipping out whatever gets returned. 

Random thought, looking over my Toony Terrors shelf: While I don't pick up many of the modern day characters, one I would really like them to do would be Gabriel from "Malignant".  I know some folks don't care for that movie, but I loved it and think it would be a fun figure.  Not sure I'd need an Ultimate though.

I think I may've meant the NYCC exclusives. The uh...Kevin Eastman, glow Invisible Man etc. I forgot NYCC even happened.  Those are the ones I'm waiting for.

I hadn't heard of anyone waiting on the NYCC stuff, though I guess it would follow if people are still waiting for SDCC stuff. I know Nostalgia Unboxed is still waiting for his first turtles.

Saw this post on reddit about Basil Gogos-themed repaints of the Universal Monsters figures.  Honestly, this was the first repaint I figured NECA would be doing after B&W, so I'm surprised it took this long.  Unfortunately, from the bit of reading around I did, it seems like they are (for now? for always?) exclusive to the Universal Studios them parks?  Anyways:

Yeah... I know there have been a ton of Werewolf figures released in the last year or two - and most of them just haven't been my speed.    This figure from NECA of the Howling Werewolf is the one I want.   That thing looks great.   Can't wait to be able to order that.

I saw a leaked pic of the "tour guide" version of Beetlejuice. ill pass on that one but if they do the maroon "wedding suit" version of BJ, ill buy it.

The Tour Guide Beetlejuice has been available for pre-order for a while now.  So far it's the only new Ultimate they've offered, the others have just been re-issues of the old unarticulated figures from years gone by.
