They said they were going to make Santa Jack an exclusive possibly... I hope this line kicks off again. Would love a full re-release of the old figures and then new ones like the hanging tree.
Thanks Cmoney. gonna be collecting this line when it comes out.

Did NECA ever give an idea when Cushing is coming out? I'm guessing summer.
Got the Hannibal re-release from WalMart yesterday. Very simple figure- barely a "figure" at all, really- but I still quite like it. One could argue if it's truly worth it at $35ish bucks, but it's an iconic look, and really pops on the horror shelf among all the darker colors. Keeping the headsculpt with the mask on, of course. Part of me is still tempted to pick up the jail cell Hannibal for something a bit more "dynamic", but this one feels right. Hannibal, especially in SOTL, is known for his stillness, so having a solid piece of plastic to represent him feels appropriate, you know?
Finally got around to opening my NECA Flash Gordon figures. Any scuttlebutt on whether they plan on continuing this license? Prince Baron, Dale, Princess Aura, Klytus, and Dr Zarkov could all use figures. As well as Flash Gordon in a t-shirt. I know NECA can be rather secretive with stuff until they're ready to reveal product. Just wondering if anyone ever asked them about more plans for this line.
Got a mystery package incoming from NECA. I'm guessing it's the Alien: Romulus stuff.
I spotted Bettlejuice the Re-release at walmrt today. was gonna buy it cause it looks very good but got Majin Buu from Bandai instead. BJ has 8 POA but no elbow and knee joints
Hammer/Chrisopher Lee Dracula availble at Target:
So, my best friend was talking to a NECA rep at Walmart the other day. He was told that NECA is no longer going to be sold in Target stores starting in 2025. This was the first I'd heard this, so I was wondering if anyone had heard this? I don't know why the rep would lie about such a thing, but it does concern me a bit.
I feel like they've already shown too much TMNT cartoon stuff that isn't out yet and that only Target sells for that to suddenly be true? Unless they can suddenly start selling that everywhere, of course.
Hope that's not true. Other than online, Target has been my primary source of NECA products. Though I will say, NECA's presence varies wildly at my local stores as of late. Obviously none of the smaller "express"-style Targets carry them, and of the 2 larger Targets that I frequent, only one ever has a decent amount of NECA stuff ever in stock. It's mostly leftover Toony Terrors, and a rotating selection of Ultimates, along with some plushes here and there. The other hardly ever has anything- a couple Toony Terrors left over, and I think I saw a couple of the re-released Beetlejuices there lately, but that's about it. Hasn't had any Ultimates in years now. The whole "collector's" section over by electronics has dwindled along with the movies there, though the other one is still going strong. I did walk into a mall-connected Target that's a bit upstate from me last week that used to have a pretty decent sized collection of NECA products, and always seemed to get new Ultimates in before everywhere else, and they didn't have a single NECA product on the shelves. I went around the store a couple times, thinking I'd just missed them, but nope- the section had been converted into another little home goods section.
Every time I fly home to the middle of the country, the NECA stock seems pretty plentiful, but here in my neck of the woods, it varies wildly. Don't know if there's just more collectors, or if there really is just less demand. It would be a shame to lose out on it, as a lot of my local comic shops aren't selling NECA anymore, and when they do, it's at a pretty markup. Don't have many Wal-Marts near me, and the ones that are aren't easily accessible.
Since they stopped carrying blu-ray, NECA is literally the only product that gets me into their store every now and then.
That would be a surprise as it seems like a relationship that has worked out well for both parties, probably more so for NECA so I doubt they would voluntarily end it. Also possible that rep's outfit is just no longer going to be stocking NECA at Target and they misunderstood. Or Target wants to carry the stuff directly, without a vendor. Then again, with Blu Rays getting axed at Target it could be that a lot of other stuff might be getting phased out. Maybe they don't want a "Collector's Spot" anymore or want to just take it all online and not devote the shelf space. I have no idea why they would, what could they possible want more shelf space for unless they just plan to lease out more sections of the store to annoying cell phone carriers. If it is going away, I'd assume someone else will pony up for the cartoon TMNT stuff since that's still a pretty big seller. For my sake and the sake of all TMNT collectors, I hope that someone isn't Walmart. At any rate, I've been a "NECA Store Ambassador" since they launched the program at Target so if the relationship is ending I would assume I'll receive an email about it in due time.
