I don't think we'll ever see Mad Max figures.   George Miller is very controlling with the license.  I would think Warner Bros owns it, but I've heard Miller isn't too keen on merchandising the property so he must have some kind of say.  It's kind of a miracle those 6" figures from back in the day exist as well as the POPs.  Funko has some kind of major pull over at WB for some of the things they've made to happen.

Seems Miller wants 100% control over all things Mad Max.  I just read somewhere that he hates the video game that came out in 2015.  I thought it was a great game and one of the few examples of a movie license video game done correctly.  Miller needs to be involved with every aspect of the franchise.  I just saw Furiosa and thought it was good, but I don't want Miller to go down the Ridley Scott/George Lucas route.  Ridley wants the Alien franchise to move away from the titular alien and Miller wants Mad Max films that focus on other characters.

Has anyone picked up the Ben Cooper wave 2 figures at Target?  I got the Vampire Girl and I was just wondering about the way the "dress" is sewn.  There's one side that's left open on this figure, and I wasn't sure if that was intentional to allow for posing or if it's a sewing error.

I'm only an occasional NECA buyer (a handful of TMNT waves and their DnD stuff at the moment) but I've got it in my head to pick up a couple of xenomorphs for a photo project - any recommendations where to start? They've made so many and I'm just hoping to find something with nice ROM and a pretty basic xeno look. (I'm goofing off with an old space station Extreme Sets setup I bought years ago and forgot I still had in storage, wanna light it all creepy.)

I'd love a Val Kilmer Doc Holiday.

Good God, yes! A thousand times over; YES!

Also, I've been campaigning hard for over a decade to get a Cassaday Lone Ranger and Tonto.

edit: Although, right after posting, I remembered I'm in a Neca thread. No hate intended, I'd just want both Legends scaled, not 7".

@docsilence do you have a preference between the smooth domed head or the ridged one?  I still see the Ultimate Aliens version on shelves at Target.  They're all pretty well articulated, but they do have a tendency to get a bit loose over time.

@fuzzybluedemon Y'know, thinking about it, I don't have a preference as long as it has nice articulation. I'll do a Target run this week to see if the local store carries one. Weirdly, I'd rather a looser figure - my previous NECA figures were alarmingly stiff-jointed.

Did anyone every see the last three figures of series 2 Ben Cooper Halloween kids? The vampire & witch (7&10) showed up on Walmart but the Devil #2, Vampire girl & Phantom (6,8 & 9) never did. I never got any notice from BBTS and they love sending notice and now the whole 2nd wave is shown sold out and series 3 is already available. It's like they never hit general release.

I saw when BBTS put up series 2 but I was not at all happy that it was only sold as a set of 5 when they'd previously released the vampire and witch at Walmart and I didn't want second copies of them just to get the other 3.  If I don't find them in stores I probably won't be getting them.

They're hitting Target stores now. I grabbed the Phantom and With girl 3 weeks ago.

Does anyone here have any experience with KOs of the various Alien Xenomorphs? I have a fairly decent collection of Xenos from Alien, Aliens, Alien3, and some of the video game & comic Xenos, but I've been considering going back and getting some I missed like Covenant, AvP, & Resurrection. Obviously, the KOs are gonna be a lot cheaper than getting original versions, but I don't know if they are worth it or not.

@cmoney The fact that they are starting with this outfit leads me to believe we'll be getting a whole lot of different looks for the Juice. Hopefully they'll also do Lydia (a wedding two pack, perhaps?), and maybe the Maitlands as well.

I kept hesitating on the striped suit figure, now seeing this I realize I was never a big fan of that look. THIS is the figure I want.

If they do a Monica Bellucci, I will freak out.

Ah, of course they announce an Ultimate Beetlejuice the week after I finally tracked down the striped suit. Rewatched the first film last week before I saw the second one, and I never really realized how little he wears each of his costumes. The striped suit is obviously the most iconic, but he wears it arguably the least out of all the looks. I'm totally cool starting with the Guide version, though, and I'm sure NECA will totally release the striped suit and wedding attire. Hopefully the Beetlejuice snake gets thrown in there somewhere. Would love Adam and Barbara in their ghoulish stretched out faces too; would be an easy way to (I assume) not have to worry about likeness rights. A Lydia or two would be great as well (gotta get the Handbook in there somehow), and while probably less likely, I'd totally take a Delia. A Catherine O'Hara action figure would be a dream come true. I saw they're doing a little figurine of her, so I'll take that for now!
