Jubei officially funded. I kept meaning to say this, but I think a progress tracker would help this project and future projects to get over the finish line. It certainly helped with Fresh Monkey's Santa Claus campaign.

The progress updates on the Fwoosh instagram have been decent, but I second a progress bar on either the fwoosh store or somewhere else.
I did end up pre-ordering Jubei (from BBTS). I would have liked to have the different color options available, but I totally get why Fwoosh couldn't commit to something like that. And brown is the 'correct' color to go with off the hop, at least. But now that I'll have that one, it'll almost certainly be a pass on any other color options. I can't buy a bunch of these.
They might be able to tempt me with a tattered clothes/bandaged Jubei, though. Maybe.
Has anyone from Fwoosh commented yet on whether or not they were able to work out and resolve the problem with the ninja hands getting really loose? Going off just the dozen+ or whatever figures I own from the line, it was definitely a common issue.
I kinda wish THE CONSUMED came with a matching yellow standard ninja head. I ❤️ yellow ninjas.
I don't think The Consumed has been posted here yet. I was more into the samurai figures than the ninjas the first go-around, and yet this thing is tempting me for reasons I can't begin to articulate. Maybe because it's sick?
I’m strapped for 2023 but I bought in for a few with BBTS in 2024. I think these Consumed look fantastic! I’ll probably look to get skeletons in 2024 if available.

I'll be a late preorder due to budget, but I do hope folks are looking at and signing up for the Consumed. He looks really slick and if you check instagram you can see more of the body updates. The scale looks better and there's some work being done on the hands/wrists that seems like an upgrade. I'm hoping folks hop on so he can get made.

I'm excited for this one too! I had just assumed that parts between The Consumed and the ninjas would be swappable but your comment on scaling has me worried that I might be wrong.
@red_ogre They've confirmed the arms 100% are and the wrists should be with a little heat. The scaling is all in the form of a smidge more height in the torso and maybe a bit of an increase in head and hand size. It's not a huge change, just enough that from the pic they look more in line with GI Joe classified. Torso, head and hands are the only new body pieces.

Nooooo! Only 40 out of 500 pledged is insane! The Consumed looks so good but for some reason he's not selling.
I haven't and don't plan to pre-order the Consumed, myself. I love Fwoosh and the Fwoosh team and totally want them to succeed, but I'm also not in a position to just throw money at things I emphatically do not want to own. And I just don't think the Consumed looks appealing. I don't need a red demon...in a yellow ninja outfit. It's certainly striking, but also just not at all something I want or even like.
I dig the demon/oni heads, and if those were combined with a body and some samurai armor in darker colors, I'd be all over it. Even just a new 'deluxe' black ninja with the new body I'd be down for one or two. It's a bummer this isn't doing well because getting some black ninjas and new samurai on this updated body was a really exciting prospect that I definitely want to see happen.
