Monkey king looks perfect. what a shame they put the best head design in the battle damage version but i want the regular version. Q4 2024 is so far away though. 3 months is the most ill wait for a figure. i guess ill wait till it comes out on the ebayz.
Can I ask why? Nearly every pre-order in this hobby has a window longer than three months. Why risk paying more than retail, or the product selling out?
As far as heads, are you referring to the open-mouth angry one? Cuz that's the reason I went with battle-damaged myself. 🙂 Although, truth be told, I also prefer the more muted coloring.
I'm going with the standard version, love the accessories and the cocky grin on one of the heads, though the extra pack also comes with some amazing portraits.
I'm really loving that the battle damage version shows said damage happened to his enemies, not Wukong himself.

The rabbit isn't a Fury Toys product, it's Maestro Union, but it must be getting close to release because I just saw this a couple days ago:

The first figure, Crocker, was designed by the same guy who designs the Fury Toys stuff (possibly now renamed as Rage Toys, it seems?), but he seems to have split off into his own thing after that. The rest of the figures (the wolf, the tiger, the panda brothers, the rabbit, etc) were all a different designer, maybe multiple ones, I'm not sure.
EDIT TO ADD: There was a lot of initial confusion because Maestro Union was calling its line Furay Planet and then there was also Fury Toys the company.

The price is $10 cheaper, but 5K does charge shipping and you don't really know how much until you pay for the rest when it's in stock. Still, my experience has been that a) they got their stock much sooner than BBTS, and b) it still end up being a couple-three bucks cheaper.
