Speaking of Cyberzoic looks like a sample went out of their kuraokami Japanese arctic dragon and a review was posted a week ago (link below).  The engineering looks better than I expected, but no wing articulation is disappointing and it's only 1:18 scale so the Four Horsemen certainly have a much larger engineering challenge with huge, articulated wings in the 1:12 scale.

Even though the static wings bum me out I think I'm sold on this guy.  He looks solid, and if the Four Horsemen do theirs this well I'm probably sold on that also.  But of course we won't know that before the crowdfund ends, so it's a big gamble.  😬

Looks like the dragon’s add ons for the fire breath and wings will be separate. Meaning you don’t have to buy a pair of giant wings to get the fire breathing head and flame. That’s a smart move considering how the NECA Gargoyles wings ruffled people’s feathers.

Or whatever the dragon equivalent of feathers is....

I'm not sure they'll ever make a dragon small enough to fit in my display case, but I'd love something ~12-16" long and 10-14" tall. A baby dragon in comparison to the behemoth coming next year.

Beast of the Mesozoic has a Frost Dragon which could work with Mythic Legions.  It's 1/18 scale, but it's large enough to work with MyL as a small dragon.  I'm sure they have other ones in the works, but the Ice Dragon was their first dragon (since the line is almost all dinosaurs).

Okay, I owe you an apology. I put a pre-order in after watching the video EC posted.

The style isn't perfect, and it's expensive, but it's close enough for now.

I'm probably selling my adult red dragon mini if you're at all interested @docsilence.

Sounds like we’ll get the campaign details tomorrow night during a live stream and then the campaign starts Friday night. They did clarify the fire breath comes with an open mouth head and extended neck. So if nothing else, folks could pick up a sort of bust of the dragon and maybe just have a head poking out of a cave/lair/hole of some type. Might be a nice option for those limited on space to have some representation of this beast.

Also, got my graveyard skeletons today! The black and white packaging really evokes a Disney Skeleton Dance reference.

There is a pamphlet include and at the end of it is a page that says the graveyard will open again in October 2025. Not sure if that means a rerelease of these skeletons, or something else. If it’s another set, I’m hoping for a zombie pack using that body the Red Death figure is on. We’ve got lots of zombie heads to work with already.

I'd be interested to see what a Mythic Legions Gargoyle looks like.  I assume it'd just be like the recent DJinn but in grey, but something like that could be cool as ornamentation or something that comes alive for the knights to fight etc.

Obviously we'll find out exact details for the MyL dragon in a couple of days.  But...

$550 dragon
$75   shipping (guess)
$55   base tax (varies per state)
$75   flame, head, neck extensions
$50   wings
$13   adds tax (again, this varies)
$813 total

I'm guessing for the additions sets but still...if you get the whole thing...damn.  It's a whallop.  And I may be conservative on my adds pricing.

Yeah, the costs of those additions will be interesting. Maybe they’ll have a discount for the whole package vs buying them separately? Curious if they have any shipping deal on this like their current flat rate they’ve done lately.

They did mention figures would be in the stretch goals so I’m curious what kind of value those could add to the total package. But I’m betting you’re right this could be pushing $800 out the door for everything, which is good they broke this up into some accessory sets to keep the base dragon somewhat reasonable.

You're making me less certain in my prediction that this will fund easily. I am, reluctantly, out. I think it will be a good value, for what is offered. It's just more than I need.

By the time they add figures and whatever else they said was coming this is going to be over 1000.00, which is insane.  It will be beautiful, don't get me wrong, but holy sh*t.

I have a feeling you're a bit low on the flame, head and neck add-on. I'm not gonna be shocked if it's $100 or a bit more.

I appreciate the cost breakdown, too, it helps remove any temptation on this.

I haven't watched any of the videos about the dragon. Are the add-ons actually add-ons and not traditional stretch goals? If that's the case, this will be much closer to the price I expected when I first saw this behemoth.

I don't even think $800 or $1000 is that bad for what's being offered, but it's well above what I'd pay for nearly anything.

@tsi yes the fire breathing head and wings are two separate accessory sets that can be purchased separately. They have planned stretch goals that will be included with the base dragon and they did mention figures would be among those. Everything will get revealed in a live stream tomorrow night.
