Eamon wouldn't commit to more Fire and Ice to me when I specifically asked about character selection...

...but his sweetheart of a lady friend gave me the old wide eyes and nod when I mentioned Nekron. Lol

I'd definitely get a Nekron should he get made, though I hope this Frazetta line delves into his other works. Frazetta's John Carter would be insane as a figure.

Early review of Darkwolf.   By the project manager of the figure.   Shoulder articulation is interesting.  Single-jointed knees are a little disappointing.  Looks nice.  Not sure I want to bite because of the price.

DW looks real good. also liked the teaser during the video of the next 'frazetta' female figure. i wonder if the tiger will be articulated? if that frazetta girl figure comes out good, LooseCollector will have competition now.

SideNote: Im back on the radar, got a new job, better pay too. i can buy more figures now 😏

I mention this cause ive noticed some people keeping tabs LOL ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The figure looks pretty nice. Of course, it's hard to make a solid judgement on things like joint stability and all that because it's a not-final sample being handled by the person responsible for the line. Not like he's going to be all 'oh, these joints are so shit... whoops' on camera. Looks really nice as best we can tell there, though.

I don't hate the single knees (don't LOVE it, but I don't hate it) and I think the shoulder articulation is actually very cool and I'd love to see how that works in hand. Thing is, on BBTS that's a hundred dollar figure. US dollars. That's a tough pill for a character I don't have a whole lot of investment in beyond 'I like Frazetta stuff.' Definitely going to have to think it over, though, because I'm not at a hard 'no' on this one, either.

Yeah... the $100 price tag is just too high for me to go in on this figure.    Maybe I'm spoiled but the Loose Collector figures have been $70 and Xesray Studios figures even less than that -  so the asking price on this guy is just too high for me to bite.     If this came in at $70... maybe even $75 I'd be tempted to order.    But at this price it's a figure I'll admire from afar.

@panthercult it is $70 on the Frazetta Girls website.  I think BBTS is buying it at full price & marking it up from there.

After tax and shipping, I think he comes out to be -~$85-90.  So yeah…a hell of a bite.   I’m kinda fine with the McFarlane barbarian Batman scratching this itch.

I do wonder what other characters this company will be tackling, though.

The price is keeping me away and the amount of toys I've been buying has been hectic lately.  I do have some nostalgia for the movie because my father rented the VHS way back in the day when my age might not have been totally appropriate according to my Mom, but I watched it anyways.  When I think about it, this movie may have had way too much influence on my tastes that continues forty years later.  My introduction to Frazetta, before knowing who Frazetta was.

There's also the Bakshi connection because I loved the Hobbit and LotR before seeing F&I.

I've long been aware of Fire & Ice.  Just had never seen it till earlier this year.  I have had that poster burned into my brain since its release, though.  Dark Wolf has a great design (totally influenced that barbarian Batman), but I'm not sure I need the figure.

Honestly, one of the things holding me back on this Darkwolf as well is that I have an MOTUC Darkwolf made using a kit from Alvis Underground that is really solid ....  before he ripped a bunch of us off and disappeared.     Perhaps if I didn't already have a Darkwolf figure I liked I would be more tempted to spend the money for this one.

If he does a Death Dealer,  that I might not be able to resist....   Death Dealer was one of the figures Alvis took my money for and never delivered (along with Jaguar God and Warduke... rassum frassum)

For what its worth my order from Frazetta Girls came out to $80 exactly. I handled the Power Con sample they had and I was impressed, the dude was really pushing the joints and even told me don't be gentle. I was very cautious with peoples samples and products out there. In addition to him stating Teegra was sculpted he said Conan is in the plans. Specifically stated the price point would be lower than the Mezco which he said was produced under a different deal. That means Death Dealer could very well be possible despite the Phicen and Mezco figures.

I ordered one, the 15% off helps.  It says to sign up for a newsletter to get 15% off the first order.  I didn't get a code, so I found one by Googling, "FRAZETTA15".

I just pre-ordered. Looks like he's 7", so that fits with my collection perfectly, and the promo code brought it to $69 total.
