My Marley's got loose-ish ankles too. Definitely not the typical tightness of Mythic Legions joints. I attribute it to the clear plastic. I think he would look amazing on a flight stand, with all those chains and bank boxes and ledgers hanging, and the safe anchoring him down.

I assume I broke my harness for Marley trying to get it on. Can't tell if its suppose to come out the way it did or not. Either way it certainly isn't going back in. Looks easily fixed with some superglue when I have more time. I legitimately cant tell and have no idea how else I was supposed to get it on.

Edit: duh; I'm an idiot. Gotta take the arms off

I pulled the harness open from the bottom too assuming that's how it was supposed to go on. I wasn't able to fully close it again and figured it was just a pita like Santa's belt. Can't really tell it's open when he's all geared up though.

The harness on mine came apart at the very bottom of the backside. There wasn't any residue left behind which made me think it's supposed to come apart there. It definitely doesn't stay together very well once it has come apart, so for anyone who hasn't put it on yet, I'd say just pull the arms off if you're comfortable doing so. I have a little sticky tack on mine in this picture to help keep it in place.

I got my Marley today and immediately opened the safe so I didn’t need yo worry about spoilers anymore, and holy cow without giving any spoilers of my own this my favorite of the Christmas surprise accessories so far. I knew exactly which figure I wanted to pair it with and the results really make that boring figure I only bought for fodder shine!

I’m currently auditioning new heads for Marley, since I have no use for Jacob Markey in my display but could use a Ghost Pirate… right now I’m liking Addamon (though he might look better on the inevitable “alive pirate” buck reuse) and the Mignola-ish “Zombie” head that comes with Hagnon (although, I might just wait and use the Blue glow or zombie flesh colored repaints of the head to better match)… if I had that 2.0 head to 1.0 neck adapter from the Valiant Knight I’d love to see how the Dark Elf King or Frost Elf Queen look on this base too.

Yeah, I'd say looseness in some spots is my only real complaint with MLs or FOs.... I'm still quite happy with the figure nonetheless.

Whoa! Great setup!! What figure are you using for Scrooge there?

@thegillman It's a Mezco Gotham by Gaslight Joker.

I repainted one of the heads and added some sideburns, stole the top hat from Atticus Doom (it's the same as Jokers just in black) and scarf from Sodcutter. The glasses are from marvel legends.

I ordered during the restock a week late and still don't have shipping info. I would have expected something before now.

Same here. Surprised there hasn't been any movement on shipping thus far. It looked like Marley didn't sell as well as they initially expected due to the relisting and how fast people were getting their orders, yet here we are a week later and us "late adopters" are still waiting.

The Horsemen estimated 3 weeks to get all of the original batch of orders out. They posted on instagram they are still on track for that and that the restocking batch will go out after that and take around another week to get them all out. Seems like he sold just fine - perhaps better then anticipated even.

Marley is the second Obscura I passed on in 2023. There was three new ones right? Son Wu-Kong, Red Death, and Marley. I love Son Wu-Kong! I decided to pool the funds on not buying the other two to get the retail Headless Horseman. It is marvelous. I like the more subtle horror in the first release. I decided not to get it. I couldn’t pass on this spectral green version. It’s awesome. Marley is pretty awesome too but Horseman just sucked up my extra cash. The mystery head in the safe I hear was cool. I will have to hunt down pics of it. I may try to buy the Figura Obscura key accessory. It’s just an interesting piece.

What literary character will they do next? I’d like sailor or pirate like Ahab, Long John Silver, or Sinbad. I think a Four Horsemen version would be outstanding.

Thwipp!

@prophet I'm on record thinking they'll get to Dracula or Frankenstein soon for a Halloween release. I could see them doing a Dorian Gray as well. Especially now they've dipped into that more modern clothing.
