How much was he? I might get him if I can get him without the mug and all the other stuff. I have to put in my preorder anyway for the next wave so might as well save on shipping. On the plug side, at least given the parts he comes with we know they're going in the direction of being able to make pirates. My wallet screams at the thought.

The figure itself was $60 before shipping and your possible state taxes (if applicable). If past FO drops are followed here, there will be an 8pm EST drop as well. It'll ship within the month, as these Store Horsemen sales for the FO figures are in stock drops.
Future "retailer appreciation" versions (recolors) are preorders.
@detrimental-fig right but that’s not the appearance it’s giving off. Maybe it will look more one that I person? An uneven positioning if the jaw may have given off a dislocated look better.
I do love the idea of making the next few holiday exclusives the Christmas Carol ghosts. I'd love to see 4H's take on some of them, especially if they go the more unique route for some of them, like the Jim Carrey version of Christmas Past. I know Christmas Future is essentially just the Grim Reaper, but 4H could give us a really unique take, I think.
The green robed St Nick makes a good Ghost of Xmas Present and Maxillius a good Ghost of Xmas Future. Just need a ghostly child - or a top-hatted cricket - for the Ghost of Xmas Past.
TBF,, the feet and the edge of the coat are translucent. You can see it better in the beauty shots.
As soon as I posted that, I saw the glamor shots again, and noticed the transluscent plastic. It's a nice little touch, but I think could've been a bit more apparent. Then again, maybe in person it is. But some more on his hands or torso or something would've been nice.
I'm a bit torn on the screaming head as well. It's definitely a bit "80's practical effects", and teetering more on the comedic side of things. I get that Marley wasn't the scariest of the ghosts, but he was definitely offputting, and the overly wide mouth is definitely a bit unsettling. I think a smaller mouth that's maybe a bit more crooked to give the impression of a broken jaw might've worked better for me, but that's just my two cents. I can't afford him anyway, so my opinion doesn't matter. 😆
The straight on shot of the jaw dropped head looks better in my opinion. The bottom jaw does look slightly askew, just maybe not as much as many would like. I’ll likely pop that head on one time to see it and then put it back in the box.
I'm curious if the howling head looks better in person as I do agree it looks almost toonish in the shots. I'll likely never use it, unless they get me to buy a Scrooge next year and I just want him yelling in his face.
@misfit based on the Staves, I’d expect the Ghost of Christmas Past next, then Present, and the Yet to Come. Scrooge would be for Stave 5. But that’s only if the Horsemen continue to base the figures on the Staves chronologically. Each stave until 5 features a ghost with 5 being the conclusion the next morning with Scrooge’s changes.
A really impressive figure, and much like Mask of the Red Death...it kills me to have to skip it. Just don't have the $ at this point in time to spend on any figures outside of the lines I already collect (hell, I don't even have the $ for those, if I'm honest).
With their obvious love of Gothic Victorian literature, is it too much for me to hope they do a Dracula based on his book appearance? Seeing Marley made me think that many of the parts included here could be repurposed for the Count.

Classic Dracula has to be coming. I could see them doing Dorian Gray too. Dracula seems like an obvious choice for a Halloween offering one year, no?
My order has already shipped and should be here tomorrow. That's a pleasant surprise as I feel like my past orders took a week or two.
I am genuinely curious about what process they utilize to determine shipping order. It doesn’t seem to be chronological. I’m usually an all-in order in the first minute of the first drop and have frequently been towards the end of shipping. Single, non-all-in orders seem to ship first. Maybe easier to throw one item in a box and get them moving for working on multi-item orders? Certainly one of the more intriguing parts of the whole process but as long as they all eventually arrive it’s not all that important in the end. We collectors aren’t usually a patient lot 😆
So how should they do Scrooge? All dressed up or in his nighties?
That’s a great question! Nightgown would display with the ghosts better. They’ve done some great soft goods outfits lately. He wouldn’t be all that different outfit wise from Father Christmas in that regard- an under gown with maybe a robe over that. Old guy in PJs isn’t all that exciting visually though.
A Scrooge in street clothes would probably make for a more interesting figure but not display with the ghosts as accurately. I kind of hope they offer a way to have both looks. Maybe a deluxe Scrooge that has parts that could be used for both looks?
I think the Ghost of Christmas past will be interesting. A small child-like ghost isn’t the most interesting spirit as far as a toy goes so maybe they do a two pack of nightgown Scrooge and Christmas Past to make it a more enticing offering? The one figure a year might be a bit too slow for some if Scrooge doesn’t come until the end. Honestly not sure if a Bob Cratchet and Tiny Tim would be popular enough for a Stave 5 release though. I’m all-in for this sub-line but not sure everyone else will be.
I think the next release will really shed some light on the direction. The mini comic being just Stave 1 makes me feel like we’ll get all 5 and that at least the next 3 will be ghosts. The last stave is the wrap up and seems best suited for a redeemed Scrooge. I really hope the horseman open up about the plan since the biggest surprise will be the looks of the figures now rather than choice/theme.
