I just went for it. Had more to work with than I thought and that damn FOMO inducing email sealed the deal. Four Horsemen are 3 for 3 on getting me with their Halloween flavored Figura Obscura releases. I love 'em all and this will be a really sick addition to that collection.

I'm definitely interested in where they go from here. Count Dracula is the obvious choice, but I could see them releasing him earlier for World Dracula Day in May. At least I kinda hope they do that since I don't want to wait 'til this time next year for one. I'm VERY interested in seeing what direction they'd decide to go for with him. I'd hope he'd have just as many display options as this Creature does. For heads alone, there's a lot of choices. I'm sure one would be the early novel creepy old man with long white hair and mustache. Then a more youthful appearance, probably based on that look. Would be cool if it came with their take on the stereotypical hair slicked back, clean shaven Dracula as a bonus. Or they could give him a more monstrous, bat-like alternate head. Really, sky's the limit.

Phantom of the Opera and the Invisible Man are other good calls, lots of fun potential for both of those. Some really great Invisible Man figures out there already (so glad I can say this), but one that comes with book accurate albino Dr. Griffin parts would be way cool. Hey, it'd also be the perfect excuse to make more lab equipment to go with all the fun stuff Frankenstein's Monster includes.

I've got some good horror shelves, so there's no way I could pass this bad boy up. I really dig his size and sculpt. Glad I don't have to wait a year (or more) to get him. And yes, a green 2nd version is also a must-have.

Not the third version?  Thought for sure you’d scarf that one up.

Yeah, this has already replaced the Monkey King for my favorite individual Figura Obscura figure and it’s not even in my hands yet.

I ended up ordering one last minute on Saturday - the thing that sold me is remembering how much I loved the Monster from Penny Dreadful. I have two really beautiful werewolf imports I can display him with. I've been pretty selective with this line but the story is what got me this time.

And: HE IS ALREADY HERE. USPS just dropped him off five minutes ago. I used the cheapest shipping option! Insanely fast. Won't have time to crack open the box til tonight but I did just pick up the castle from Exteme Sets, which would be perfect for some eerie photos later.

Apparently they're putting Frankie back up this Friday at 11EST.

So good, it'll sell out for a third time! /s
The manipulated FOMO marketing has really gotten out of hand.

100% this. He was lasting too long and I knew they would pull him off the site to maintain the FOMO. I didn't think they'd put him back up this quickly though.

It's also possible the cancelled orders that went over any limits they set in place, or multiple orders to the same address that did the same. It has been a few days since he was first listed.

Went to Fan X in Salt Lake City today and got to meet Nate and Jim. Had a great conversation with Nate and picked up Frankenstein (along with a skeleton and Hagnon) and even was lucky enough to have Nate and Jim sign the box flap for me. My all-in order hasn’t shipped yet so I found that rather funny. Frankenstein has always been my favorite monster so being being able to display one in each ‘outfit’ now will be nice.

I’m sure I’ll be back for more before the weekend is over.

Ha! I was also there yesterday working a booth and completely spaced that they had a booth, as well. I made a cursory walk around the floor on my lunch, but I didn't see them. Maybe for the best or I might have been tempted to buy figures I don't really have room for.

@runestonecowboy they’re at D202 not far from the pop life and wild bill’s booths. You still working a booth through the weekend?

@buttmunch Yesterday was my only scheduled day, but I could use my wife's pass for an hour if I really wanted to. Thanks for the heads up!
