Just saw the SH Figuarts Aragorn, Frodo, and Legolas, and I’m really not impressed. DS figures are head and shoulders above them, even based on the promo shots. The Figuarts versions just don’t even really look like the same characters.

Well that's a swing and a miss for S.H. Figuarts, I don't like the look of these at all!

Very pleased we have the DS line instead (my wallet is also pleased)

May be an image of 4 people and toy

Not to toot our own horn, but yeah, I think we definitely did better with likenesses. And the poseability doesn't appear to have been elevated, really (especially with Gollum). I imagine the price largely goes toward the fabric cloaks, which we have 100% looked at, but cost is a concern.

Wowwww that’s disappointing. I don’t like how those soft goods are looking on the figures. And swivel joints in 2024?!? Yikes.

I completely forgot that the Frodo prototype had a ring around its neck, and I honestly never really thought about the fact that he DOESN'T come with one until today. Maybe we can include one in a future release.

@msword Great news!  Are Eowyn and Witchking still looking to ship in early February?

Do we have a better idea of what the twilight Frodo reissue comes with?

@arondir I believe it will be the same as the exclusive release, but with no boat or Gollum or Gollum parts. Not sure that anything has been added.

Finally got my Merry and Pippin today!

Boy does it look like Frodo needs a re-release when they're next to him!

Crazy how for the paint apps have come in such a short time (thankfully stoned Galdalf is hidden below his hat brim)

I'm hoping that the $35 price tag will lead to better accessories and design for the Lord of the Rings line.In particular, the accessories don't get cut too much, as well as the scabbard being able to fit on the body.

Tauriel’s scabbard is attached FYI, unless something changes in production. It looks like the sword and knives are both attached.

EDIT: my mistake, the quiver is attached and the scabbard for the knives is attached as well.
