I'm super excited to get these two and finish out The Fellowship! They look great! Agree with Schizm that the eyes look better than in the protos. Come on Amazon, get these shipped!

I got my Merry and Pippin from DST last week.
pros: costuming is great! Articulation is solid, about par from what we have seen for the line. The Pippin sculpt has to be one of DST’s best, it looks fantastic.
cons: no attached scabbards, swords are too small, it’s noticeably small and it’s very annoying.
you can kinda squeeze the scabbards in their jackets and they will stay, it works on the shelf.
No Hobbit wave in this month’s PO’s. 🙁
Not sure if WOTR would get any figures, the reception to the trailer has been pretty icy from what I have seen.
I am going to a screening of the first two episodes of ROP next week and am super excited.

Suddenly I'm hit with a need to watch these nine characters pose for a portrait before their quest. It's the end of that scene just... for hours. The character dynamics in that situation would be interesting to observe.

We just offered Wave 8 a couple of months ago. Will be another few months, until they are closer to release.
Bilbo concept art revealed. Based off old Bilbo from the end of the Hobbit films.
In Mr Alan’s video with Eamon (super nice guy!) we get first looks at Bilbo and Tauriel. Tauriel does look good I must say, but Bilbo…it’s Ian Holum Bilbo, NOT Martin Freeman, which I find to be another choice.
@arondir I just watched the interview... Ian Holm Bilbo is another interesting choice! I'm not sad about it, as it works for both trilogies, but that's not the version I picture when I think of The Hobbit. I wonder if it's a likeness issue with Martin Freeman..?
Tauriel looks good based on the art. I can't think of anything else I'd want with her, if she ends up coming with all of those accessories.
