@spinc I wanted to make sure the scabbard was swivellable, so I drilled holes in the skirt and transplanted a stake onto the scabbard.

And the stake has to fill the hole of scabbard,or it would be easier off if it be glue on the surface of scabbard.

So, when do we get to preorder Gandalf the White?

Not sure. Merry and Pippin will be individual figures now, with accessories. Might bump Gandalf back a bit. We'll see.

So excited to get Sam and Saruman.  Are they still scheduled for roughly February?

Fine with them being separate but bummed that means Gandalf may be bumped back.  

Is there any reason waves are capped at 2? Is it due to production limitations?

They will have accessories, including cloaks and probably mugs, pipes. To do a two-pack with accessories would not have been cheaper than two single figures. Figure cost is roughly the same as a full-size figure.

It's for sales reasons, not sure I want to get into more detail at this time.

I'm fine with a slow, consistent trickle if that's more palatable for retailers- it's worked so far, we nearly have the complete fellowship PLUS extras! 

I'm really happy with the line so far 😀

Any word on when The Hobbit figures will start? I really am looking forward to them since there are so many awesome characters (all of them really). Did they say anything at a con recently?

@msword There were talks of the Hobbit characters being some of the eventual waves; is a new version of Gandalf the grey in that lineup?
