BBTS is saying my pair of Stone Grotesques are due next month Dec '23. Anybody that went in on the KS campaign know how close they actually are to delivery?

I went in on the kickstarter because I love the demons and Jedi Ghost Jesus, and here is the latest update regarding release:
”The last bit of news - production updates! Tooling is still moving along, and my projected date of November December has been pushed back a little bit, I am hoping to get these in the warehouse at the beginning of the year. It is my goal to have them in your hands before my next Kickstarter in February, so please everyone cross your fingers! Please understand that there is a lot of tooling, plus I went through a lot of minor tweaks and adjustments on the body to make it the best it can be. I am very happy with the results! man you you may know, I will always choose a small delay over shipping out an inferior product.”
Oh, nice. I never assume a toy project is going to keep to its planned schedule but this one is pretty dead-on based on that. Gracias, brother.
Was hoping that my Christmas figure display could have the birthday boy in it this year, but I figured that wasn’t happening after we hadn’t seen any production samples by November.
Did we lose this whole thread? Anybody got updates for we non-KS guys that POed thru BBTS?
I ordered some from the KS and some from BBTS, and I haven’t gotten any updates in quite some time from either about this project.
Hmm, I notice the last post before I revived this was Nov 23; so is it time to start being concerned?
WAITAMINUTE, the Updates are public to everyone. Is that new for all KS projects or something these guys chose to do? In any case, some of it all seems to be on the water:

Actually - there was an update on the Kickstarter page just last week:
Posted on January 23, 2025:
"We are finally here! As of this update, 1 of 2 container shipments has now departed from our factory. While I was hoping to get all of this out before Chinese New Year, we were able to begin by shipping out the full sets of Book 1, 2, 3, 4, and the Biblical All-In, and the balance will be heading out from the factory after CNY, at the beginning of March at the latest. This was due to me making a few more last minute tweaks and adjustments to the figures and the packaging, my apologies.
I am currently looking into what the availability is in shipping these out on their own if there are other items in the order. If this is possible, then the balance of the order will be shipped out as soon as it comes in. Let this also serve as an additional reminder - PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR CREDIT CARD AND SHIPPING ADDRESS IS UP TO DATE ON BACKERKIT. You do not need to update this on Kickstarter, as this will be shipping through Backerkit and will use the information on Backerkit. You can log into your account and make changes, or contact Backerkit directly to have them assist you with the changes. I can not make these changes for you, sorry.
Coming up on February 9th, I will be travelling to attend the Wonder Festival show in Tokyo. It is a 1-day show, with an attendance of around 50,000 people coming through. There is a never-ending display of incredible garage kit and vinyl models, as well as official company tables showing and selling product. I will have a table alongside one of our Japanese retailers, Hobb-Idea. We will be offering an extremely limited quantity of Mythic Legions figures from Four Horsemen Studio (my full-time job), as well as a limited quantity of 3 of the new figures from the Biblical Adventures Kickstarter campaign. I was able to have these sent over directly from the factory before everyone went on their well-deserved holiday break!
I will also be visiting the factories in China for about a week before I return home and attend Zolocon on March 1st and 2nd, taking place at the Valley Forge Casino Resort in King of Prussia, PA. For those that will be in attendance, I will also have super limited quantities of more figures from the Kickstarter campaign alongside some of the past exclusives. More than likely I will ONLY be at the table on Saturday, March 1, so do not wait to pick something up on Sunday, March 2, as there is a good chance you will miss out. To give you an idea of the quantity available, it will be whatever I am able to fit into a box up to 50 pounds, and check onto the airplane as my 2nd piece of luggage.
These figures will be considered an early preview sale to get everyone excited and ready for the full release once it hits the NJ warehouse. If you can not make a purchase at the show, please do not pay crazy prices on the secondary market! These WILL be available through retailers as well as my online store and other conventions at a later date.
Thank you again, your support and patience are the backbone behind bringing this crazy 30+ SKU campaign to life. I can never appreciate you enough!
Chris"
He also included a picture of a shipping container full of boxes - ostensibly of these toys.
So, you're in luck, it looks like they are still on they way.

How were you actually at the Kickstarter page while I was posting the update from the Kickstarter page... that's hilarious that we both went there at the same time.
Grated minds thimk alike!
I hope these turn out as good as they looked. Those Jesus figures looked really good, and really resembled the art they were based on.
It has been a long wait for these guys, but my sense is that he knows that he has one time to get these right so he is taking his time. I am hoping these arrive by Easter this year. I know he plans to do a second KS for a new wave, I will have to see where that goes.
I have picked up most of the convention exclusive demons, not sure why I need a rainbow collection of demons but so be it. I picked up an assortment of knockoff/bootleg fire/energy effect pieces in various colors and plan to pair with the demons in some sort of display.
If the softgoods turn out to look better than the promo pics I might be in for the Big J but good grief those are some atrocious looking softgoods as it stands. The amounts of blasphemous shenanigans I could get up to in toy photography may prove to be too much to resist though and I might get him anyway.

Get two? JFC? 😈
