I found a couple master Chiefs on sale with the intention on turning them into larger armored grunts. The grunt helmet fits, but the neck needs to be modified

Boiled the shield, popped the arm...strap...thingie off.

Inserted the peg from my extra Gung Ho backpack into the hole while it was still soft.

It definitely sits higher than I envisioned, since I didn't actually "measure" where it would go, haha.

But aside from the EXTRA GH backpack, nothing was permanently altered!

I loved the v1 and v2 growing up, i can't wait to add some of those to the collection.

I'm thinking of swapping the overlay straps between Falcon and Stalker to give Stalker his own official "JoePro", but I'm worried about the overhanging shirt bit of the strap overlay on Falcon. Does anyone have any tips or experience on trimming or cutting off that type of plastic?

Cutting it off is easy enough, scissors or x-acto knife work well, i prefer the blade to scissorsthough. Funnily enough I've been searching for some prints/casts of the joepro. I'd like it to be the uniform thing they all have. I've been searching for a resolute style Sgt. Stalker head if anyone knows where I can find one. I thought about modding a MOM baron mordo head, but idk if it'll work.

Does anyone have recommendations of figures who have black trigger hands that I could use as replacements for the hands on Shockwave? The exposed fingers seem so wrong and for some reason they molded the wrist at some weird angle such that he can't really pose with his arm outstretched while using his guns. Also anyone try putting a beachhead head on shockwave because I'm not really feeling the head sculpt on shockwave. Thinking about painting one blue and going with that.

Got Python Patrol Copperhead, and me with my funny quirk of duplicate characters, I slapped an extra Marvel head on him. I saw something similar somewhere online. Works for me.

Anyone try the recent Marauder Task Force Christina head on the Walmart 4" modern Retro Baroness?

At the rate they're cranking these out, I'm almost afraid of making any customs. Nemesis "immortal" means more cobra la isn't far behind. I have these on my desk, i pobably won't finish until I see theirs.

I can pretty much guarantee they're going to release a Flint without his vest in 2024 cos I picked up an extra Flint and just cut off the vest to see how he looked without it. Such a simple mod it barely belongs in this thread since it was zero skill on my part, but gotta say, I'll probably display this one instead - his ROM is a bit better an I can get him into more dynamic poses. If I can find a cheap Tiger Force Flint I'll pick one up to do the same. Super easy swap (but worth keeping an unmodded one around cos the vest is pretty cool with the shotgun holster.)
